Israeli Soldiers Injure Many Palestinians Near Bethlehem

On Monday, Israeli soldiers caused many Palestinians, especially schoolchildren, to suffer the effects of tear gas inhalation near the schools’ area at the northern entrance of Tuqu’ town, east of Bethlehem, in the occupied West Bank.

Mousa Sha’er, the Mayor of Tuqu’, said the soldiers invaded an area containing several schools, leading to protests.

He added that the soldiers fired many gas bombs and concussion grenades, causing many Palestinians to suffer the effects of tear gas inhalation.

It is worth mentioning that the soldiers are constantly deployed near the schools and invade streets around them, harassing and searching the children and the staff, an issue that usually leads to protests.

Earlier Monday, the soldiers killed Mahmoud Abdul-Jalil Sa’adi, 18, and injured at least five in Jenin, in the northern part of the occupied West Bank.
