On Friday evening, Israeli soldiers abducted a young Palestinian man near the perimeter fence in the northern part of the besieged Gaza Strip.
The Israeli army said the soldiers arrested a young man who tried to breach the perimeter fence in northern Gaza.
It added that the soldiers searched the young man, who was unarmed and took him to an interrogation facility.
The Israeli army frequently abducts Palestinian farmers and workers near the fence across the eastern parts of the coastal region.
Many Palestinians also try to cross the fence searching for work due to the ongoing siege on Gaza and the alarming levels of poverty and unemployment in the impoverished coastal region.
On Monday, several Israeli military vehicles, including bulldozers, invaded Palestinian lands east of Deir Al-Balah, in central Gaza and bulldozed them.
On Saturday, Israeli navy ships attacked several Palestinian fishing boats near the shore of Gaza city in the besieged coastal region.
Last Thursday, Israeli soldiers abducted a young Palestinian man while crossing the Erez (Beit Hanoun) crossing in the northern part of the Gaza Strip.
On Thursday morning, Israeli soldiers invaded Palestinian lands and fired live rounds in the central and southern parts of the besieged Gaza Strip.
The attacks are part of constant Israeli violations against the Palestinians, especially the fishermen, farmers, shepherds, and workers in the besieged and impoverished Gaza Strip, and resulted in dozens of casualties, including fatalities, in addition to severe property damage and the confiscation of many boats after abducting the fishermen.
In March of 2021, the Palestinian Interior Ministry in Gaza said Israeli mines were responsible for an explosion that led to the death of three fishermen.
