Israeli Soldiers Abduct Four Palestinians In Ramallah, One In Bethlehem

On Thursday dawn, Israeli soldiers abducted four Palestinians, including one child and two former political prisoners, in the Ramallah and Al-Biereh governorate, in the central West Bank and a young man in Bethlehem.

Several army jeeps invaded Beit Sira village, west of Ramallah, before the soldiers stormed and ransacked homes and abducted former political prisoner Rami Ibrahim Hamdan and a child, Abdul-Rahman Ishaq Al-Haj.

The soldiers also invaded Beit Rima town, northwest of Ramallah, searched homes, and abducted a former political prisoner Ahed Hazem Rimaqi.

In the al-Mughayyir village, northeast of Ramallah, the soldiers abducted Atef Morad Na’san, 19, from his home.

In Bethlehem, south of occupied Jerusalem, the soldiers invaded the Aida refugee camp north of Bethlehem city and abducted Khaled Aqel Mustafa, 40, after invading his home and ransacking it.

The soldiers also closed and surrounded the area of the Secondary School for Boys at the entrance of the refugee camp.

Israeli Soldiers Injure Many Palestinians Near Bethlehem

On Wednesday evening, Israeli soldiers injured many Palestinians in Husan village, west of Bethlehem, in the occupied West Bank.

Mohammad Sabatin, the Mayor of Husan, said the soldiers invaded the Al-Matina area at the village’s eastern entrance, leading to protests.

Sabatin added that the soldiers fired many gas bombs and concussion grenades at the protesters and surrounding homes.

Many Palestinians, including some in their homes, suffered the effects of tear gas inhalation and received the needed treatment.

Israeli Soldiers Shoot A Palestinian Near Hebron

On Wednesday evening, Israeli soldiers opened fire at a Palestinian car near the entrance of Kharsa village, south of Hebron in the southern part of the occupied West Bank, wounding its driver.

Media sources said the soldiers opened fire at the car from their fortified military tower at the village’s main junction.

Medical sources in Hebron said the soldiers shot the driver, 39 years of age, with four live rounds in the elbow, wrist, abdomen, and thigh.

Palestinian medics rushed to the area and moved the wounded man to a hospital in Hebron.

It remains unknown why the soldiers opened fire at his car, especially since they did not attempt to abduct him.
