On Monday morning, Israeli soldiers abducted a young Palestinian man and attacked protesters in a village and a town near Bethlehem, south of occupied Jerusalem in the West Bank.
Media sources said several army jeeps invaded the Shawawra village east of Bethlehem, searched homes, and abducted a young man, Mahmoud Issa Hamdan.
The sources added that the soldiers also interrogated many Palestinians while searching their homes and inspecting their ID cards.
The soldiers also invaded Tuqu town, southeast of Bethlehem, and surrounded the area of the local al-Khansa’ School, leading to protests.
The soldiers fired a few live rounds, gas bombs, and concussion grenades at the protesters; there have been immediate reports of injuries.
