Including A Child, Israeli Soldiers Shoot Eleven Palestinians In Kufur Qaddoum

On Friday, Israeli soldiers attacked the weekly procession in Kufur Qaddoum, east of the northern West Bank city of Qalqilia, and shot eleven Palestinians, including a child, and caused many to suffer the effects of tear gas inhalation.

The procession started in the afternoon when the Palestinians gathered in the center of the town and marched while chanting against the ongoing Israeli occupation, escalation, and illegal colonialist activities.

The soldiers invaded Kufur Qaddoum and attacked the protesters with live rounds, rubber-coated steel bullets, gas bombs, and concussion grenades.

Medical sources said the soldiers shot a child, 13, with a live round in the thigh, and ten Palestinians with rubber-coated steel bullets. Many Palestinians suffered the effects of tear gas inhalation.

Last Friday, the soldiers shot nine Palestinians, including a child, with rubber-coated steel bullets and caused dozens to suffer the effects of tear gas inhalation in the weekly procession in Kufur Qaddoum, east of the northern West Bank city of Qalqilia.

The Palestinians have been holding weekly processions in Kufur Qaddoum for the last eighteen years, demanding the army to reopen the village’s main road the soldiers blockaded to allow easy access to the illegal colonizers driving to and from Kedumim illegal colony built on stolen Palestinian lands.
