On Wednesday night, Israeli soldiers injured dozens of Palestinians and abducted one in two separate incidents in the Hebron governorate in the southern part of the occupied West Bank.
Media sources said the soldiers invaded the Al-Arroub refugee camp, north of Hebron, leading to protests.
They added that the soldiers fired a barrage of rubber-coated steel bullets, gas bombs, and concussion grenades at the protesters and surrounding homes.
Palestinian medics rushed to the area and provided treatment to scores of residents who suffered the effects of tear gas inhalation and cuts.
In the Old City of Hebron, the soldiers installed a sudden roadblock, stopped and searched dozens of Palestinians, interrogated them while inspecting their ID cars, and abducted a young man from the local Amro family before moving him to an unknown destination.
