Jewish settlers to establish 28 new outposts

OCCUPIED JERUSALEM, (PIC) – The Nahala settlement movement is considering establishing 28 new settlement outposts in various locations of the occupied West Bank during US President Joe Biden’s expected visit to the region in July, Israel Hayom newspaper revealed Sunday.

The Nahala movement said it has already begun preparing settler groups and touring potential sites ahead of the planned settlement operation, which it said was slated to take place on July 20.

As stated, Israel Hayom has learned that the Nahala movement was considering expediting the plan in three locations to coincide with Biden’s potential visit.

Nahala movement head Daniella Weiss was quoted as saying, “It is time to say out that the entire land of Israel belongs to the people of Israel. We will continue to establish settlements and cities in all areas.”

Palestinian estimates indicate there are about 650,000 Jewish settlers living in 164 settlements and 116 outposts in the occupied West Bank, including Jerusalem.

International law considers all settlement construction in the West Bank illegal.
