In unprecedented move, extremist Israeli settlers perform epic prostration in Al-Aqsa Mosque courtyards

Occupied Palestine (QNN) – Heavily guarded extremist Israeli settlers on Sunday performed what they called the epic prostration inside the courtyards of the Al-Aqsa Mosque Compound.

During the epic prostration, Israeli settlers prostrated completely on the ground, which considered the greatest degree of yielding in biblical rituals.

Israeli settlers’ groups have been working for long years to perform the entire Talmudic ritual inside the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, under the protection of the occupation police.

Israeli occupation police quelled Palestinian worshipers from reaching Al-Aqsa Mosque, especially during the settlers raiding to the Islamic courtyard in order to impose new reality in the area.

Palestinian and Arabic institutions warned of performing the entire Talmudic ritual inside the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, including the epic prostration, noting that it is part of well-planned plan to construct the so-called “Temple”.

Al-Quds international institutions stated in a statement last September that performing epic prostration is a malicious and dangerous step to establish the so-called sacrificial worship, and to transform Al-Aqsa into a spiritual center for the Jews on the way to their quest to demolish the blessed mosque and establish the alleged temple on its ruins.

Israeli settlers, during today’s incursion, performed the anthem of the Israeli occupation state inside Al-Aqsa Mosque, which is a new dangerous step to desecrate the mosque, in light of the repression that the Palestinian worshipers were subjected to, and the Arab and Islamic failure, as the residents of occupied Jerusalem assert.

About 80 Israeli settler’s groups, believed in the Temple, exploit religious events in Judaism to organize mass incursions into Al-Aqsa Mosque.

VIDEO| Israel’s Netanyahu storms Al-Aqsa’s Al-Buraq Wall

Occupied Jerusalem (QNN)- Former Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has just broken into Al-Buraq Wall plaza, the western portion of Al-Aqsa Mosque complex in occupied Jerusalem.

Ahead of the far-right “Flag March” which is due to take place in the Old City at 4:00 p.m, Netanyahu has broken into the Al-Buraq Wall, known to Jews as the “Western Wall”, amid high tensions in the area as over 1044 colonial settlers, including MK Itamar Ben-Gvir, broke into the Al-Aqsa compound from today’s early morning hours till 11:00 am.

Former Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu breaks into the Al-Buraq Wall plaza in the Old City of Jerusalem.

The settlers entered through the Mughrabi Gate, one of the Gates of the Old City of Jerusalem and is under full-Israeli control. The settlers performed Talmudic rituals in its courtyards and provocative dances.

Fanatic Israeli settlers are holding a provocative dance inside the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound right now.

Earlier today, dozens of well-armed Israeli occupation forces raided the mosque to make a way for settlers to break into the holy site.

The occupation forces attacked the Palestinian worshipers inside the holy site and blockaded them inside the prayer halls to empty the courtyards of its worshipers to secure the settlers’ entry.

The provocative storm of the holy site came only a few hours before the “Flag March,” an annual rally planned by Israeli far-right settlers as part of celebrations to commemorate the so-called “reunification” of the city under Israeli rule.

The march typically brings together thousands of young, far-right Israelis, who chant anti-Palestinian slogans and wave Israeli flags as they pass through the small streets of East Jerusalem’s Old City.

Last year’s parade took place amid heightened tensions in the city, paving the way for ‘Israel’ to launch a devastating military attack on the Gaza Strip, codenamed Guardian of the Walls.

The May 2021 assault left 256 Palestinians dead and thousands injured, as well as damaging over 50,000 homes and destroying key infrastructure.

Right-Wing Israeli Settler Leader and Israeli Soldiers Invade Al-Aqsa Mosque

Beginning at 7 am on Sunday, dozens of right-wing Israeli paramilitary settlers, led by the extremist Itamar Ben Gvir and accompanied by squadrons of Israeli soldiers, stormed the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque, removing Palestinian worshipers who were there for the morning prayer, and invading the sanctuary spaces to force out the Muslims who were peacefully praying there.

Israeli troops accompanied the right-wing Jewish settlers in their provocative invasion of the mosque compound, and installed checkpoints in addition to violently assaulting the Palestinian Muslim worshipers.

Israeli TV reported that Itamar Ben Gvir will lead or be present in the “Flags March” that Israeli right-wingers are planning for later on Sunday. Ben Gvir is known for his sharp hostile stances towards the Palestinians. Earlier this year, he set up a temporary parliamentary office in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood of East Jerusalem, accompanied by dozens of settlers, which led to violent confrontations with the Palestinians living in the neighborhood.

The soldiers closed the al-Qibly mosque in the Al-Aqsa compound, closed the door with iron chains, broke its windows, and attacked worshipers both in and around the mosque, and abducted many of them.

Israeli undercover forces were also part of the invasion. They attacked Palestinian worshipers, including women, and forced a Turkish woman out of the mosque.

Israeli right-wing Jewish extremists decided to invade Al-Aqsa Mosque on the anniversary of what they call the “unification of Jerusalem”, which is the day that the Israeli military began its occupation of the city of Jerusalem in 1967, forcing out many of the indigenous Palestinian residents of the city – an expulsion which is still ongoing until today.

The Israeli forces deployed to the mosque at the time when Palestinians were gathered for the dawn prayer. They first attacked the mosque at the Mughrabi Gate Square, then advanced towards the Al-Qibly prayer hall, completely surrounding it and closing its doors, while hundreds of Muslim worshipers were attempting to enter the mosque for prayer.

The Israeli soldiers also prevented many young men from entering the mosque. The men who were prevented from entering performed prayers at the gates of Al-Aqsa, while the soldiers continued to surround them.

The soldiers abducted many Palestinian worshipers, and forced others out with force. Meanwhile, busloads of right-wing Jewish settlers arrived at the mosque, in a provocation aimed at angering Muslims around the world. The leaders of the right-wing Jewish settlers, including Itamar Ben Gvir, have called for the destruction of the Al-Aqsa Mosque in order to build a Jewish temple in its place.

Hundreds of Israeli settlers invaded the mosque through the Mughrabi Gate, which is an ancient gate that has been under the control of the Israeli authorities since their invasion of the city in 1967.
