Israeli forces kill 17-year-old Palestinian boy during military raid into Jenin camp

Jenin (QNN)- Israeli occupation forces killed on Saturday morning a 17-year-old Palestinian boy during a military raid into the Jenin refugee camp in the occupied West Bank.

The Palestinian Health Ministry cnofirmed that Amjad al-Fayed was shot by Israeli forces in the neck and chest.

His father said, as local sources reported, that the forces shot him with 11 live bullets all over his body.

Media coverage: Hundreds of Palestinians take part in the funeral procession of the 17-year-old Amjad al-Fayed, who was shot dead today by the Israeli occupation forces during a military raid on Jenin.

Earlier today, the Israeli forces stormed the city of Jenin and its camp. Confrontations erupted between the occupation soldiers and young Palestinian men and boys on Haifa Street, where Israeli soldiers also fired live bullets at the Palestinians.

The Health Ministry also announced that an 18-year-old boy was wounded with a live bullet to the abdomen and his condition is critical.

Local sources reported that two of Amjad’s uncles, Amjad and Muhammad al-Fayed, were also shot dead by Israeli forces in 2002 in a military raid on the same camp.

On Sunday (May 15), 40-year-old senior Palestinian figure, Dauod Zubeidi, who is brother of Palestinian detainee in Israeli prisons and one of Gilbou’s six breakers, Zakaria Zubeidi, also died of injuries sustained during an Israeli military raid in Jenin refugee camp. Daoud was reportedly among 13 Palestinians injured on May 13 by Israeli forces near and in the city of Jenin.

That raid came only two days after an Israeli sniper shot and killed Al Jazeera’s reporter Shereen Abu Aqleh while she was covering an Israeli military raid into the Jenin refugee camp despite wearing a press vest on Wednesday (May 11).

Israeli forces injure 65 Palestinians taking part in anti-occupation protests in Nablus

Nablus (QNN)- Israeli forces injured at least 65 Palestinian protesters in Beita and Beit Dajan villages in Nablus while participating in the weekly anti-occupation protests on Friday.

The Palestinian Red Crescent confirmed the IOF injured nearly 65 Palestinians taking part in the peaceful protests against Israel’s occupation in Beita and Beit Dajan villages today, among them 13 people shot with Israel’s metal bullets.

The forces attacked the protesters by intensively firing rubber-coated metal bullets, sound bombs, live ammunition and tear gas canisters disperse them.

It was also reported that a Palestinian child identified as Ameer Khdeir was hospitalized after being run over by an Israeli settler outside the village of Beita.

Colonial Israeli settler runs over Palestinian child in Nablus’s Beita village

Nablus (QNN)- A colonial Israeli settler ran over a Palestinian child by his vehicle near the village of Beita, south of the occupied West Bank city of Nablus, on Friday.

Local sources reported that Ameer Bashir sustained bruises and fractures after an Israeli settler ran over him by his car near the village of Beita.

Bashir was rushed to a hospital to get medical treatment and his condition was reported as stable.

The Palestinian Red Crescent also confirmed that Israeli occupation forces injured at least 65 Palestinians taking part in the peaceful protests against Israel’s occupation in Beita and Beit Dajan villages in Nablus, today, among them 13 people shot with Israel’s metal bullets.

Beit Dajan and Beita villages have been the site of weekly protests against the Israeli occupation and settlement expansion.

However, although the protests have been peaceful, Israeli forces have suppressed, detained, and assaulted the protesters.

This has resulted in injuring hundreds and killing others.

Moreover, there has been a sharp spike in settler violence against Palestinians and their properties in the occupied Palestinian territories.

The violent acts include beating, throwing stones, issuing threats, torching fields, destroying trees and crops, stealing crops, using live fire, and damaging homes and cars.

There are nearly 700,000 Israeli settlers living in 256 illegal settlements across the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem. Israeli settlements are illegal under international law.

Israeli Soldiers Fire Live Rounds At Farmers, Shepherds, And Fishermen In Gaza

On Saturday, Israeli soldiers fired many live rounds at Palestinian farmers, shepherds, and fishermen in several parts of the besieged Gaza Strip.

The soldiers, stationed on military towers across the perimeter fence east of Gaza city, fired dozens of live rounds and gas bombs at the farmers and their lands in the at-Taqa area, east of Rafah, forcing the Palestinians to leave their lands.

The soldiers also fired many live rounds at Palestinian shepherds and their livestock east of the al-Qarara town, northeast of Khan Younis, forcing them to leave in the southern part of the coastal region.

In addition, Israeli navy ships fired live rounds at several fishing boats near the Rafah shore, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip.

The attacks are part of constant Israeli violations against the Palestinians, especially the fishermenfarmersshepherds, and workers in the besieged and impoverished Gaza Strip, and resulted in dozens of casualties, including fatalities, in addition to severe property damage and the confiscation of many boats after abducting the fishermen.

In March of last year, 2021, the Palestinian Interior Ministry in Gaza said Israeli mines were responsible for an explosion that led to the death of three fishermen.

Israeli Soldiers Kill A Palestinian Teen In Jenin

Israeli soldiers killed, Saturday dawn, a teenage boy and seriously injured another Palestinian after the army invaded the Jenin refugee camp in the northern West Bank governorate of Jenin, leading to protests.

Medical sources in Jenin have confirmed the identity of the slain teen as Amjad Waleed al-Fayed, 17, and added that the soldiers shot the teen with nearly eleven live rounds in the upper body.

The sources added that the army also shot and seriously injured another Palestinian, eighteen years of age, before being rushed to a hospital in Jenin.

The Israeli army said the Amjad was killed during exchanges of fire that took place after the army invaded the refugee camp.

It is worth mentioning that the slain Palestinian teen is the nephew of Amjad and Mohammad al-Fayed, who were killed in the massive Israeli offensive in the Jenin refugee camp in April of the year 2002.

His death led to more protests in Jenin refugee camp, Jenin city, and surrounding villages and towns before the soldiers fired many live rounds, rubber-coated steel bullets, gas bombs, and concussion grenades.

Hundreds of Palestinians headed in front of Ibn Sina Hospital in Jenin and carried the corpse of the slain teen before marching in various streets in the city and the Jenin refugee camp while chanting for ongoing resistance against the occupation and national unity.

Army Injures Many Palestinians In Kufur Qaddoum

On Friday, Israeli soldiers injured many Palestinians in Kufur Qaddoum town, east of the northern West Bank city of Qalqilia.

Morad Eshteiwi, the media coordinator in Qalqilia, said the Palestinian marched in the weekly procession carrying Palestinian flags and calling for unity among the Palestinians and their factions.

He added that the soldiers attacked the nonviolent procession with rubber-coated steel bullets, gas bombs, and concussion grenades.

Four Palestinians were shot with rubber-coated steel bullets, and many suffered the effects of tear gas inhalation before Red Crescent medics provided them with the needed treatment.

The Israeli gas bombs and concussion grenades also led to a fire in an olive orchard before the locals managed to extinguish it.

Eshteiwi stated that the Palestinians called for countering all Israeli measures and colonialist activities, especially the recent calls by illegal colonizers to hold a flags procession in the occupied Palestinian capital, Jerusalem, including in Al-Aqsa Mosque.

The Palestinians have been holding weekly processions in Kufur Qaddoum for the last eighteen years, demanding the army to reopen the village’s main road the soldiers blockaded to allow easy access to the illegal colonizers driving to and from Kedumim illegal colony built on stolen Palestinian lands.

Army Injures Six Palestinians, Including Two Women, Near Ramallah

Nablus, Army Injures Many Palestinians, Child Wounded By Colonizer’s Car

On Friday evening, Israeli soldiers injured many Palestinians in Huwwara town, south of the northern West Bank city of Nablus. After an Israeli colonizer rammed him with his car, a Palestinian child was also injured.

Ghassan Daghlas, a Palestinian official who monitors Israel’s illegal colonialist activities in the northern West Bank, said many army jeeps invaded the central area of Huwwara.

He added that the soldiers chased and attacked several Palestinians while raising Palestinian flags on poles and budlings, leading to protests before the army fired gas bombs and concussion grenades.

Medical sources said dozens of Palestinians suffered the effects of tear gas inhalation, cuts, and bruises and received the needed treatment on the scene without the need for hospitalization.

In related news, a Palestinian child was injured after an Israeli colonizer rammed him with his car near the main entrance of Beita town, south of Nablus, and fled the scene.

Palestinian medics rushed to the area and moved the wounded child, Amir Bashar Khdeir, to a hospital in Nablus city. Amir suffered various cuts and bruises.

Soldiers Abduct Three Palestinians In Jerusalem and Jenin

On Friday evening, Israeli soldiers abducted two Palestinians from Jerusalem and Jenin in the occupied West Bank.

In Jerusalem, the soldiers abducted two young men in the Bab al-Ghawanma area near the al-Aqsa Mosque while heading to the holy site to pray.

The two, who were not identified at the time of this report, were moved to a detention and interrogation facility in the city.

In Jenin, in the northern West Bank, the soldiers abducted a former political prisoner, Ibrahim Fathi Amour, after stopping him at a military roadblock on the main entrance of his town, Ya’bad, west of the city.

The soldiers also invaded Rommana, Taybeh, Zabbouba, Ta’nak, and al-Yamoun, near Jenin, and fired many live rounds, gas bombs, and concussion grenades at Palestinians, protesting the invasion.

The army installed roadblocks south and west of Jenin, stopped and searched dozens of cars, and interrogated many Palestinians while inspecting their ID cards.

On Friday dawn, the soldiers invaded and ransacked many homes across the occupied West Bank and abducted eight Palestinians.
