Israeli navy ship attacked, Wednesday, Palestinian fishing boats in two areas near the shore of Gaza city, in the besieged coastal region.
Eyewitnesses said the navy ships fired many live rounds at the fishing boats and used water cannons in Palestinian waters in the al-Waha and as-Sudaniyya area, northwest of Gaza city,
They added that the attack did not lead to casualties but forced the fishermen to leave without being able to fish to provide for their families.
On Tuesday, several Israeli military vehicles, including bulldozers, invaded Palestinian farmlands east of Rafah city, in the southern parts of the Gaza Strip, and bulldozed several sections while firing live rounds.
The attacks are part of frequent Israeli violations against the Palestinians, especially the fishermen, farmers, shepherds, and workers in the besieged and impoverished Gaza Strip, and resulted in dozens of casualties, including fatalities, in addition to severe property damage and the confiscation of many boats after abducting the fishermen.
In March of last year, 2021, the Palestinian Interior Ministry in Gaza said Israeli mines were responsible for an explosion that led to the death of three fishermen.
