Soldiers Injure Many Palestinians, Including A Journalist, In Al-Aqsa

Israeli soldiers injured dozens of Palestinians, including a journalist, and attacked medics in the courtyards of the Al-Aqsa Mosque, in occupied Jerusalem, in the West Bank.

Dozens of soldiers and police officers invaded the holy compound, surrounded, and assaulted many worshipers, and fired gas bombs and concussion grenades at them.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) said the soldiers attacked its medics and tried to prevent them from entering the courtyards of the holy site.

The PRCS added that the soldiers injured forty-two Palestinians, including twenty-two who were rushed to the al-Makassed hospital.

The soldiers also shot a journalist, Hasan Dabbous, with a rubber-coated steel bullet in the abdomen.

The soldiers also abducted several Palestinians in Al-Aqsa, including a journalist Abdul-Salam Awwad, and isolated many Palestinians, including several wounded worshipers, in the al-Qibli mosque in Al-Aqsa, after locking its gates with chains.
