Israeli Colonizers Invade Archeological Area In Sebastia

On Tuesday, Israeli colonizers invaded the archeological area in Sebastia Palestinian town northwest of Nablus, in the northern part of the occupied West Bank.

Mohammad Azem, the mayor of Sebastia, said several army jeeps invaded Sebastia to accompany the colonizers in several buses into the archeological area.

Azem added that the soldiers closed the entire area of the site and all surrounding streets before preventing the Palestinians from entering it.

It is worth mentioning that the soldiers frequently invade Sebastia to accompany groups of colonialist settlers into the archaeological area.

During these invasions, the soldiers block Palestinian traffic, frequently storm homes and stores, abduct Palestinians, attack protesters, and remove the Palestinian flag from the site.
