Israeli Soldiers Shoot A Palestinian Near Jenin

On Monday, Israeli soldiers injured a young Palestinian man near the Annexation Wall, south of Jenin, in the northern part of the occupied West Bank.

Local sources said the soldiers fired live rounds at Palestinians on lands close to the illegal wall in Toura village, south of Jenin, wounding a young man in the leg.

Palestinian medics rushed the wounded young man to Ibn Sina hospital in Jerusalem, where his wounds were described as moderate but stable.

The soldiers also invaded Fahma village, southwest of Jenin, and installed a roadblock at its main entrance before stopping and searching dozens of cars.

Also, the soldiers invaded many areas near the towns of Arraba, Marka, Zawiya, and Kafirt, near Jenin.

On Monday dawn, dozens of Israeli soldiers invaded, Monday dawn, the al-Yamoun town, west of Jenin, leading to protests before shooting and seriously injuring two young men.

Israeli Soldiers Injure Several Palestinians In Hebron

Israeli soldiers injured several Palestinians in Hebron, Monday evening, in the southern part of the occupied West Bank.

Protests took place in the Bab az-Zawiya area, in the center of Hebron city, before the soldiers at the permanent roadblock in the Shuhada Street started firing gas bombs and concussion grenades.

The soldiers also fired gas bombs at several shops in the area, forcing them to close for the day. As a result, several Palestinians suffered the effects of tear gas inhalation.

The soldiers also attacked protesters in Beit Anoun and the al-Arroub refugee camp, east and north of Hebron.

Medical sources said the soldiers shot one Palestinian with rubber-coated steel bullets and caused many to suffer the effects of tear gas inhalation.

Young Palestinian Woman Dies from Wounds Suffered Near Jenin

Palestinian medical sources said a young woman died Monday evening from serious wounds she suffered by Israeli soldiers who invaded a village near Jenin, in the northern part of the occupied West Bank, on April 9th.

The sources said the young woman, Hanan Mahmoud Khdour, 18, was shot with a live round in the abdomen after the army fired many live rounds at a car she was in when the soldiers invaded Jenin city.

She was rushed to Ibn Sina Specialized Hospital in Jenin and remained in a critical condition until she succumbed to her wounds.

She was on her way to her school in Jenin when the soldiers opened fire on the car during an invasion of the city.

Hundreds of Palestinians participated in her funeral process in Jenin before heading to her village, Faqqu’a, east of Jenin.

On the day she was injured, the Israeli soldiers shot at least ten Palestinians and killed a young man Ahmad Nasser Sa’adi, 21, in the Jenin refugee camp.

Soldiers Abduct Eight Palestinians In Bethlehem

Israeli soldiers abducted, on Tuesday dawn, eight Palestinians from several parts of Bethlehem governorate in the occupied West Bank.

Several army jeeps invaded Husan town, west of Bethlehem before the soldiers stormed and ransacked homes, before abducting Hasan Sari Hamamra, 50, Abdul-Hakim Amer Sabateen, 58, Mohammad Yousef Zaghloul, 28, Qussai Mohammad Sabateen, 17, and Mohammad Fuad Hamamra.

The soldiers wanted to abduct the two sons of Hasan Hamamra and Abdul-Hakim but took the two fathers after failing to locate their sons, who were both shot by the soldiers in previous invasions.

The soldiers also invaded Saff Street in the center of Bethlehem city, searched homes, and abducted Hani Forsan Bisharat, 23.

In the Dehseishe refugee camp, south of Bethlehem, the soldiers abducted Thaher Mizher, 50, the father of Arkan, who was only fifteen years of age when the soldiers shot and killed him during a pre-dawn invasion of the refugee camp, on July 22, 2018.

In the Al-Khader town, south of Bethlehem, the soldiers searched several homes before abducting Khaled Ali al-Wahsh, 29.

Israeli Army Fires Missiles In Southern Gaza

Late at night Monday, the Israeli army fired several missiles into sites believed to be run by armed resistance groups in Khan Younis, in the southern part of the Gaza strip; The army claims it was retaliating to rockets, allegedly fired from the coastal region.

Media sources in Gaza said the army fired three missiles into the Al-Qadisiya site, run by the Popular Resistance Committees, west of Khan Younis.

The Israeli army said it fired the missiles after the Iron Dome missiles interception system managed to down rockets fired from Gaza.

It added that it also hit sites used by the Al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas, and sites run by other armed factions and stated that it struck an “arms manufacturing site.”

The army held Hamas responsible for the missiles reportedly fired from Gaza, regardless of which group was behind them.

The Al-Qassam Brigades said, for the first time, it used surface-to-air missiles against an Israeli fighter jet.

The soldiers also invaded several areas in Jenin and searched homes in addition to installing roadblocks.

Montaser Sammour, the head of the Jenin office of the Palestinian Prisoners’ Society (PPS), said the army abducted 55 Palestinians in several parts of the Jenin governorate since the beginning of the Muslim holy month, Ramadan, on April 3rd.

On Tuesday dawn, the soldiers abducted eight Palestinians from several parts of Bethlehem governorate in the occupied West Bank.

The soldiers also injured many Palestinians near the main entrance of Burqa town, northwest of Nablus, in the northern part of the occupied West Bank, after the army invaded the area to accompany hundreds of illegal colonizers into the site of a former colony.

Israeli soldiers injured many Palestinians near the main entrance of Burqa town, northwest of Nablus, in the northern part of the occupied West Bank, after the army invaded the area to accompany hundreds of illegal colonizers into the site of a former colony.

Update: The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) has confirmed that the soldiers injured fifty Palestinians with rubber-coated steel bullets, concussion grenades, and gas bombs during processions that took place after hundreds of colonizers marched in the area.

Among the wounded is a Palestine TV cameraman, Fadi Yassin, who was shot with a rubber-coated bullet while documenting the invasion and the resulting procession.

The soldiers closed many major roads, and installed roadblocks and sand mounds, to prevent the Palestinians from entering or leaving the area.

Media sources said dozens of soldiers invaded the village’s main entrance to accompany groups of colonizers who marched towards the evacuated Homesh colony.

They added that the colonizers came in more than fifty buses and were accompanied by many army vehicles.

Dozens of Palestinians suffered the effects of tear gas inhalation, cuts, and lacerations, during protests that erupted after the army invaded the area.

It is worth mentioning that the soldiers closed the main roads leading to Burqa after placing sand mounds on them to “secure” the march of the illegal colonizers.

The protests continued until morning hours while the army pushed more military jeeps and soldiers into the area.

Israeli Colonizes Cut Olive And Cactus Trees Near Bethlehem

On Tuesday, illegal Israeli colonizers cut at least forty olive trees and several cactus trees in a Palestinian orchard in the al-Jab’a village, south of Bethlehem, in the occupied West Bank.

Thiab Masha’la, the head of the al-Jab’a Village Council, said the colonizers cut at least forty olive trees the Palestinians planted three to seven years earlier.

He added that the orchard is owned by Ibrahim Abdul-Rahman Abu Loha in the al-Mashameesh area, in the eastern part of the village.

Masha’la also said the colonizers destroyed and cut barbed wires surrounding the lands and cut a few cactus trees.
