Soldiers Injure Many Palestinians, Attack A Child, Fire Gas Bombs At Mosque, In Hebron

Israeli soldiers injured many Palestinians, assaulted a child, and fired gas bombs at a mosque after the army attacked a nonviolent procession marking April 17, the Palestinian Prisoners’ Day, in Hebron, in the southern part of the occupied West Bank.

The Palestinians marched from the al-Hussein Mosque and headed to the Bab az-Zawiya area before the soldiers attacked them and assaulted a child, causing various cuts and bruises.

Media sources in Hebron said dozens of additional soldiers were deployed in the Bab az-Zawiya area in the center of Hebron city to counter a nonviolent procession in solidarity with the Palestinian political prisoners.

The procession was organized by the Palestinian Prisoners’ Society, the Palestinian Detainees’ Committee, and various local national and social groups.

The soldiers fired many live rounds, rubber-coated steel bullets, gas bombs, and concussion grenades at the protesters, causing many injuries, including one shot with a live round.

In addition, many soldiers and illegal colonizers invaded Khaled Bin Al-Walid Mosque in the al-Kassara area, east of Hebron, before the army fired gas bombs at the mosque.

Furthermore, one child was injured after female Israeli colonizers assaulted him near the mosque.

In related news, protests took place at the main entrance of Fasayel village, north of Jericho in the northeastern West Bank, after the army invaded the area.

Israeli Soldiers Abduct A Palestinian Near Tulkarem

Israeli soldiers abducted, Sunday evening, a former political prisoner from Nur Shams refugee camp, east of the northern West Bank city of Tulkarem.

Ibrahim Nimir, the head of the Tulkarem office of the Palestinian Prisoners’ Society (PPS) Ibrahim Nimir said the soldiers stopped his son, Mohammad, 24, at the Ennab military roadblock, before abducting him.

He added that his son is a former political prisoner who was imprisoned by the army for three years.

Nimir also said that the soldiers stormed and ransacked his home last Thursday during a massive invasion of the refugee camp.

Israel To Demolish Family Home Of Palestinian Who Carried Bnei Brak Shooting

The Israeli authorities have decided to demolish the family home of a Palestinian who was killed after conducting a shooting attack in Bnei Brak last month, leading to the death of five persons.

In a statement, the General Commander of the Central Command of the Israeli occupation army, Maj. Gen. Yehuda Fox signed Sunday the demolition order of the family home of Dia’ Hamarsha, 27, who was killed on March 30th, after a fatal shooting attack that led to the death of three Israelis, including an officer, and two Ukrainian Nationals.

The Israelis killed in the shooting are Avishai Yhezkel, 29, Yaakov Shalom, 36, and officer Amir Khoury, 32, while the two Ukrainian nationals have been identified as Victor Sorokopot, 32, and Dimitri Mitrik, 24.

The statement added that the order was handed to the Hamarsha family after the appeal was denied.

The family lives in Ya’bad town, south of Jenin, in the northern part of the occupied West Bank.

The Israeli policy of home demolitions is an illegal act of Collective Punishment targeting entire families despite criticism from various international human rights groups.

Collective Punishment also violates International Law, the Hague Regulations, the Geneva Conventions, and various international resolutions that label this practice a war crime.

Soldiers Shoot A Palestinian, Attack Dozens, In Jerusalem

Israeli soldiers shot, on Sunday night, one Palestinian and attacked dozens in the at-Tour town in the occupied Palestinian capital, Jerusalem, in the West Bank.

The Wadi Hilweh Information Center In Silwan (Silwanic) said several army jeeps invaded the town leading to protests before the soldiers fired many live rounds, rubber-coated steel bullets, and gas bombs.

Silwanic added that a young man was shot with a live round before the medics rushed him to a Palestinian hospital in Jerusalem.

The soldiers also invaded Jabal al-Mokabber, southeast of Jerusalem, leading to protests, and fired several live rounds, gas bombs, and concussion grenades.

Dozens of soldiers also invaded Be’er Ayyoub and Ein al-Louza neighborhoods in Silwan town, south of the Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem, leading to protests.

The Palestinians hurled stones at the invading soldiers in addition to using fireworks against the military and police vehicles.

Earlier Sunday, the soldiers injured at least nineteen Palestinians, including women, and abducted five after the army invaded the Al-Aqsa Mosque to accompany groups of illegal colonialist settlers into the holy site.

Israeli Colonizers Attack Beduin Community Near Jericho

On Sunday night, a group of illegal Israeli colonizers attacked the Ras Ein al-Oja Bedouin community north of Jericho Palestinian city in the occupied West Bank.

Hasan Mleihat, the general supervisor of the Al-Baidar Organization for Defending Bedouin Rights, said the paramilitary colonizers invaded the community and assaulted several Palestinians.

He added that the colonizers gathered in large numbers near the community late at night and started playing music using loudspeakers.

It is worth mentioning that the colonizers frequently invaded the community at night and have, in many previous attacks, burnt property, including sheds and tents, and stole the residents’ belongings.

Israeli Soldiers Renew Invasions Of Al-Aqsa Mosque In Jerusalem

Dozens of Israeli soldiers invaded, Monday morning, the courtyards of the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound in occupied Jerusalem to accompany dozens of illegal colonizers into the holy site and attacked many Palestinians, before abducting one.

Media sources said the soldiers invaded the courtyards of the holy site and assaulted many Palestinians to force them away and surrounded dozens of Palestinians in the Dome of the Rock, the Al-Aqsa Mosque, and the Al-Qibli mosque.

The sources added that the soldiers started forcibly removing dozens of Palestinians from the holy site before allowing large groups of Israeli colonizers to tour various parts of Al-Aqsa.

The soldiers also obstructed the world of Palestinian medics trying to reach some of the wounded Palestinians and abducted one man.

The soldiers and the police imposed severe restrictions on the Palestinians and prevented those trying to reach Al-Aqsa from entering it or its surrounding areas before denying anybody 25 years of age or younger from entering it.

It is worth mentioning that the soldiers installed many roadblocks at dawn in preparation for preventing the Palestinians from reaching the holy site.

Army Seriously Injures Two Palestinians Near Jenin

Dozens of Israeli soldiers invaded, Monday dawn, the al-Yamoun town, west of the northern West Bank city of Jenin, leading to protests before shooting and seriously injuring two young men.

The invasion of the town was conducted from several directions after the soldiers surrounded and isolated it.

The soldiers then carried out massive and violent searches of homes and buildings in the town, causing damage.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) said the soldiers shot a young man, Lutfi Ibrahim Lutfi, with a live round in the head, and another Palestinian, Abdullah Emad Samoudi, in the back, causing life-threatening injuries.

It added that its medics rushed to help the two young men, but the soldiers stopped them and claimed that they provided the needed treatment to the two, who “suffered mild injuries”.

However, the medics managed to reach the two young men and realized that they were severely injured and were excessively bleeding.

The PRCS said the heart of one of the wounded men stopped and had to be revived by the medics before they rushed the two to Ibn Sina hospital in Jenin, before being rushed to surgery.

The soldiers also abducted a young man, Yousef Abul-Wahab Freihat, and caused dozens of Palestinians, including several children, to suffer the effects of tear gas inhalation.

Two of the wounded children have been identified as Tayyem Mohammad Freihat and Yousef Sammoudi.

The Israeli army withdrew from the town after invading it for a few hours.

Israeli Soldiers Abduct Nine Palestinians Near Bethlehem

Israeli soldiers abducted, Monday dawn, nine Palestinians from their homes in Husan village, west of Bethlehem, in the occupied West Bank, after the army invaded the town before storming and ransacking many homes.

Media sources said several army jeeps invaded the village from several directions before storming and searching homes.

They added that the soldiers abducted Hamza Ahmad Za’loul, Yousef Jabal Sabateen, Mohammad Daoud Sabateen, Mohammad Bassel Sabateen, Mohammad Mustafa Shousha, Mohannad Hani Hamamra, Ibrahim Naji Hamamra, Sanad, and his brother Zeid Mohammad Hamamra.

Husan has been subject to constant Israeli invasions, especially in the eastern area of the village, since the army killed, a week ago, a child, Qussai Fuad Hamamra, 14, and a woman, Ghada Ibrahim Sabateen, 48.

Israeli Army Abducts Five Palestinians, Injure Three, In Ramallah And Tubas

Israeli soldiers abducted, Monday dawn, four Palestinians and injured three in the central West Bank governorate of Ramallah, and abducted one Palestinian in Tubas, in the northeastern West Bank.

The soldiers invaded the al-Mazra’a al-Gharbiyya village northwest of Ramallah, searched homes, and abducted a former political prisoner, Akram Khalil Ladadwa.

The soldiers also stormed and searched homes in the al-Mughayer village, northeast of Ramallah, and abducted Ayyoub Rasmi Abu Alia.

Another Palestinian, Abdul-Ghani al-Hajeeji, was abducted from his home in Qarawat Bani Hassan town, north of Ramallah, and Sinar Hamad from Safa village, west of Ramallah.

In addition, the soldiers invaded Kafr Ein and Qarawat Bani Zeid villages northwest of Ramallah, leading to protests.

Medical sources said the soldiers shot two young men with live rounds in the thigh in Kafr Ein and Qarawat Bani Zeid, causing moderate wounds.

In addition, the soldiers invaded Tammoun town, south of Tubas, searched homes, and abducted a former political prisoner Nasser Bani Matar.

The soldiers also abducted nine Palestinians from their homes in Husan village, west of Bethlehem, in the occupied West Bank, after the army invaded the town before storming and ransacking many homes.

Soldiers Invade Palestinians Lands In Beit Hanoun

Israeli Soldiers invaded Palestinian farmlands in Beit Hanoun on Monday in the northern part of the Gaza Strip.

Media sources said several military vehicles and bulldozers advanced dozens of meters into farmlands near the perimeter fence, east of Beit Hanoun.

They added that the soldiers bulldozed lands, installed sand hills near the fence, and fired several live rounds and smoke bombs.

The attacks are part of frequent Israeli violations against the Palestinians, especially the fishermenfarmersshepherds, and workers in the besieged and impoverished Gaza Strip, and resulted in dozens of casualties, including fatalities, in addition to severe property damage and the confiscation of many boats after abducting the fishermen.

In March of last year, 2021, the Palestinian Interior Ministry in Gaza said Israeli mines were responsible for an explosion that led to the death of three fishermen.
