Soldiers Injure Dozens Of Palestinians In Hebron And Nablus

On Friday, Israeli soldiers shot at least one Palestinian with live fire and caused dozens to suffer the effects of tear gas inhalation in the Bab az-Zawiya area in the center of Hebron city, in the southern part of the occupied West Bank. The army also injured many Palestinians in Beita and Beit Dajan, near Nablus, in the northern part of the West Bank.

Media sources said the soldiers stationed at the permanent military roadblock at the entrance of Shuhada Street invaded the center of Hebron city, especially the Ziqaq al-Emyan Street and Bab az-Zawiya attacked many Palestinians to force them to leave the area.

They added that the soldiers fired several live rounds, gas bombs, and concussion grenades at many Palestinians and several stores in the area.

One Palestinian was shot with a live round in the pelvis before the medics rushed him to a hospital in Hebron; his condition was described as moderate.

Dozens of Palestinians suffered the effects of tear gas inhalation, cuts, and bruises before the local medics provided them with the needed treatment.

In Nablus, the soldiers invaded Beita town, south of the city, leading to protests, and fired many gas bombs and rubber-coated steel bullets, causing dozens of injuries.

In addition, illegal Israeli colonizers invaded the water spring area in Qaryout village, southeast of Nablus, leading to protests before Israeli soldiers fired many live rounds and gas bombs at the Palestinians, causing many to suffer the effects of tear gas inhalation.

In Beit Dajan, east of Nablus, the soldiers attacked the weekly procession against the illegal colonies and fired many live rounds, rubber-coated steel bullets, and gas bombs.

Medical sources said three Palestinians were shot with rubber-coated steel bullets and caused many, including two journalists, to suffer the severe effects of tear gas inhalation.

In related news, the soldiers abducted two Palestinians and injured several others, including one who was shot with a live round, in Bethlehem and Hebron, in the occupied West Bank.
