Hamas hails Palestinian resistance against Israeli occupation in Jenin

Occupied Palestine (QNN) – The Islamic Resistance Movement – Hamas has saluted the freedom fighters in Jenin refugee camp for their valiant resistance to the Israeli occupation forces that broke into the camp on Saturday morning.

In a statement on Saturday, Hamas called for escalation of resistance acts against the Israeli occupation and colonial settlers across the occupied West Bank.

It also mourned the death of Palestinian Ahmad al-Sa’adi, who fell while confronting the Israeli occupation forces that broke into the camp on Saturday morning.

“As we mourn al-Sa’adi, we call on the Palestinian people to escalate their resistance in the face of Israeli crimes and colonial settler violence across the occupied West Bank,” Hamas said.

Meanwhile, Hamas called upon the Palestinian people to support the residents of Jenin camp, who have set an outstanding example in unity and joint work in their fending off the Israeli occupation.

At least one Palestinian youth was shot dead by Israeli forces and 13 others injured during the confrontations that took place after the Israeli occupation broke into the Jenin refugee camp.

Israeli authorities renew administrative detention against Palestinian Yusuf al-Lahham

Occupied Palestine (QNN) – The Israeli occupation authorities have renewed the administrative detention order for six additional months against 44-year-old Palestinian citizen Yusuf Yousef al-Lahham.

A resident of al-Dheisheh refugee camp in Bethlehem, citizen al-Lahham was detained by Israeli forces six months ago and put on administrative detention.

Detainee Al-Lahham is an activist in voluntary social work in the Dheisheh refugee camp.
He has served as Imam for the Great Mosque of Dheisheh camp.

Al-Lahham has been exposed to Israeli detentions several times, and spent over 14 years in Israeli prisons, including seven years on administrative detention.

According to Palestinian statistics, about 4,850 Palestinians, including 34 women and 160 children, are currently languishing in Israeli detention jails.

Among them, close to 500 Palestinians are currently being held under Israel’s illegal policy of administrative detention, under which prisoners can be held for renewable six-month periods without charge or trial.

One Palestinian killed, several injured in Israeli raid on Jenin camp

Occupied Palestinian (QNN) – At least one Palestinian youth was shot dead by Israeli forces and another five injured during the confrontations taking place in the Jenin refugee camp, Palestinian Health Ministry has said.

The martyr was later identified as 23-year-old youth Ahmad Saadi.

The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Saturday morning raided on the Jenin refugee camp and Burqin town, north of the occupied West Bank.

Right now, the Israeli occupation forces are raiding Jenin Camp in the north of the occupied West Bank.

Local sources reported that the IOF forces broke into the Jenin camp from multiple locations, deployed snipers in several areas near the camp, and encircled the family home of martyr Ra’ad Hazem.

The sources added that the IOF forces, accompanied by a military bulldozer, also broke into the town of Burqin nearby the Jenin camp and detained ex-detainee Nour Hamada after encircling his house.

The Israeli raid on the Jenin camp and its surroundings was confronted by residents of the camp, the sources indicated.

Army Abducts Two Palestinians Near Ramallah

On Saturday, Israeli soldiers abducted two Palestinians, including a teenage boy, in Kafr Malek village, east of Ramallah, in the central West Bank.

Media sources said several army jeeps invaded the village before the soldiers stormed, searched a few homes, and interrogated several Palestinians.

They added that the soldiers abducted Rayyan Mahmoud Hamayel, 17, and Ramez Tahrir Hamayel, 27, before taking them to an unknown destination.

On Friday night, illegal Israeli colonizers hurled stones at many Palestinian cars west of Hebron, in the southern part of the West Bank, causing damage.

Soldiers Abduct A Palestinian Near Jenin

Israeli soldiers abducted, Saturday dawn, a former political prisoner from Burqin town, west of the northern West Bank city of Jenin.

The Jenin office of the Palestinian Prisoners’ Society (PPS) said undercover soldiers infiltrated Burqin before storming the home of Noureddin Abdul-Latif Hamada and kidnapped him.

Several army vehicles invaded the town immediately after the undercover soldiers kidnapped Noureddin and secured their withdrawal.

The soldiers fired many live rounds, rubber-coated steel bullets, and gas bombs at Palestinians who protested the invasion.

It is worth mentioning that Noureddin is the son of detainee Abdul-Latif Hamada, imprisoned by Israel after being sentenced to a life term.

On Saturday morning, Israeli soldiers killed one Palestinian, identified as Ahmad Nasser Sa’adi, 23, and injured at least thirteen during an invasion of the Jenin refugee.

Israeli soldiers killed one Palestinian Saturday morning and injured at least thirteen, during an invasion of the Jenin refugee camp in the northern part of the occupied West Bank.

The Israeli army has confirmed that its soldiers invaded the refugee camp before surrounding the home of Ra’ad Hazem, who was killed by the army, before dawn Friday, nine hours after killing two Israelis and injuring several others in Tel Aviv. One of the injured died from his wounds on Friday afternoon.

Many armored military vehicles surrounded the refugee camp before invading it from several directions.

The soldiers surrounded a compound owned by Hazem’s family to abduct his father and several family members before exchanging fire with Palestinian resistance fighters in the area.

Local sources said the soldiers invaded several buildings outside the refugee camp and used their rooftops as sniper posts.

The sources added that the soldiers exchanged fire with resistance fighters in the refugee camp before killing one and wounding at least five others.

Medical sources at the Jenin governmental hospital said the soldiers killed a Palestinian resistance fighter, identified as Ahmad Nasser Sa’adi, 23, after shooting him with two live rounds in the head and chest.

The Al-Quds Brigades, the armed wing of the Islamic Jihad, said Ahmad was one of its members, adding that he was killed in a fire exchange with the soldiers who invaded the refugee camp.

The sources have confirmed that the soldiers shot thirteen Palestinians with live ammunition in the refugee camp, including a young woman, 19, , before they moved to Jenin and Ibn Sina Hospitals.

Dozens of Palestinians also protested the invasion and the killing of the young man and hurled stones at the soldiers who fired live rounds, rubber-coated steel bullets, and gas bombs.

The Palestinians also used loudspeakers in the local mosques, calling to protect the refugee camp and defend it from Israeli occupation soldiers’ invasion.

The Israeli army said it is ongoing an offensive into Jenin, Jenin refugee camp, and Burqin village, west of the city.

Palestinians Hold Procession In Solidarity With Hunger Striking Detainee In Hebron

On Friday, hundreds of Palestinians held a nonviolent procession near Hebron, in the southern part of the occupied West Bank, in solidarity with a political prisoner who began a hunger strike 37 days earlier, protesting his arbitrary Administrative Detention.

Amjad Najjar, the head of the Hebron office of the Palestinian Prisoners’ Society (PPS), said the Palestinians marched in solidarity with Khalil Awawda, 40, who was held by Israeli without charges or trial under the arbitrary Administrative Detention orders.

Najjar added that hundreds of Palestinians marched al-Awawda’s hometown, Ethna, west of Hebron, in solidarity with him as he continues his strike and faces serious health complications.

“Awawda is a serious condition and was transferred to the infamous Ramla prison clinic that lacks physicians, especially specialists,” Najjar said, “Israel continues to deny professional medical treatment to dozens of ailing detainees, including those who are holding hunger strikes. Such policies violate Internal Law and all related treaties.”

The family of the hunger-striking detainee also announced it installed a protest tent in front of their home and called on international human rights and legal groups to intervene, stop the serious Israeli violations, and secure his release, especially since he is held captive without charges.

The protesters chanted for the release of all detainees, especially those held under the arbitrary Administrative Detention orders without charges or trial, and held Israel responsible for al-Awawda’s life, especially since he is denied professional medical attention.

Israeli Soldiers Injure Many Palestinians, Abduct Three, In Occupied Jerusalem

On Friday evening, Israeli soldiers assaulted and injured several Palestinians in the Bab al-‘Amoud area in the occupied Palestinian capital, Jerusalem, in the West Bank, and abducted three young men.

The WAFA Palestinian News Agency said the soldiers assaulted many Palestinians with clubs and batons in Bab al- ‘Amoud, Bab as-Sahera, and Sultan Suleiman Street.

Several Palestinians were injured and received the needed treatment by medics of the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS). The medics transferred a wounded young man to a hospital for further treatment.

WAFA said dozens of soldiers and police officers were deployed in all areas surrounding the Al-Aqsa Mosque before assaulting several young men after leaving the mosque following evening prayers on the seventh day of the Muslim holy month of Ramadan.

The soldiers abducted two young men while undercover officers kidnapped another Palestinian in Bab al-Amoud.

It is worth mentioning that the soldiers and the police in the occupied capital have inured dozens of Palestinians and abducted at least forty in the first week of Ramadan.

The Wadi Hilweh Information Center In Silwan (Silwanic) said the soldiers stopped a Palestinian car in the Bab as-Sahera area and detained the passengers while searching it.

Updated: Israeli Soldiers Shoot A Child, Abduct Two Palestinians, Near Ramallah

On Friday, Israeli soldiers shot a Palestinian child and abducted two young men, in the Ein Samia area in Kafr Malek village, east of the central West Bank city of Ramallah, after a group of illegal Israeli colonizers invaded it and attacked the Palestinians.

Local sources said many colonizers, accompanied by soldiers, invaded the Ein Samia area and hurled stones at Palestinian cars in addition to attacking several Palestinians.

The locals tried to fend the attacks off before Israeli soldiers invaded the area and started firing live rounds, rubber-coated steel bullets, and gas bombs at the Palestinians.

Medical sources said the soldiers shot a child with a live round in the thigh before the Palestinian medics rushed him to Palestine Medical Complex in Ramallah.  Several Palestinians were treated for the severe effects of tear gas inhalation.

The soldiers also attacked several Palestinian and abducted two young men, Rayyan Mahmoud Sha’ban and Ramez Tahrir, before moving them to a military base near Ramallah.
