Israeli soldiers demolished two residential sheds owned by Palestinian siblings near the Al-Auja village, north of Jericho city in northeastern West Bank, the Palestinian TV has reported.
Hasan Mleihat, the head of the al-Baidar Organization for Defending Bedouin Rights, said the soldiers invaded the community before demolishing two sheds that housed 12 Palestinians, allegedly for being built without permits.
He added that Mohammad and his brother Atallah Yousef Mohammad Ka’abna own the two sheds built on their land.
Last Sunday, the army demolished three residential sheds and destroyed several solar power units used by the Palestinians in the al-Mo’arrajat area, west of Jericho, displacing twelve Palestinians from the Mleihat family and destroying the solar panels that provided them with electricity.
Many families in the area face the same threat of demolition and displacement in al-Mo’arrajat, especially since illegal Israeli colonizers plan to construct eight colonialist outposts on stolen Palestinian lands. The colonizers plan to build barns and raise livestock after forcibly displacing the indigenous Palestinians.
