Soldiers Fire At Palestinians On Their Lands In Gaza

On Sunday morning, Israeli soldiers fired many live rounds and gas bombs at Palestinians in the central and the southern parts of the besieged Gaza Strip.

Media sources said the soldiers stationed on military towers across the fence, east of the Central District, fired many live rounds and gas bombs at Palestinian bird hunters on lands near the fence, forcing them to leave.

They added that the soldiers also fired several live rounds and gas bombs at farmers while working on their lands, east of the al-Qarara town, northeast of Khan Younis, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip, forcing them to leave.

On Saturday night, Israeli soldiers abducted a Palestinian on land close to the perimeter fence, east of Khan Younis.

The army frequently attacks farmersshepherds, workers, and fishermen across the eastern parts of the coastal region and in Palestinian territorial waters, leading to dozens of casualties, including fatalities, and preventing the Palestinians from tending to their lands from fishing to provide for their families.

In March of last year, 2021, the Palestinian Interior Ministry in Gaza said Israeli mines were responsible for an explosion that led to the death of three fishermen.
