Army Attacks Farmers In Central And Southern Gaza

Israeli soldiers fired live rounds Tuesday, at Palestinian farmers on their lands in the central and southern part of the Gaza Strip.

Media sources said the soldiers stationed across the perimeter fence in central Gaza fired dozens of live rounds and gas bombs at the Palestinian farmers while working on their lands.

The attack did not lead to casualties but forced the farmers to leave their lands, fearing additional escalation.

Also, the soldiers in Kissufim military base, across the fence, fired many live rounds and gas bombs into Palestinian agricultural lands east of the al-Qarara town, east of Khan Younis, forcing the farmers to leave.

On Monday evening, Israeli soldiers fired a barrage of live rounds at farmers and workers on Palestinian lands in Khan Younis and al-Maghazi, in the besieged Gaza Strip.

The attacks are part of frequent Israeli violations against the Palestinians, especially the fishermenfarmersshepherds, and workers in the besieged and impoverished Gaza Strip, and resulted in dozens of casualties, including fatalities, in addition to severe property damage and the confiscation of many boats after abducting the fishermen.

In March of last year, 2021, the Palestinian Interior Ministry in Gaza said Israeli mines were responsible for an explosion that led to the death of three fishermen.
