Israeli Soldiers Kill A Palestinian In Jerusalem

On Monday evening, Israeli soldiers killed a young Palestinian man after he reportedly stabbed two soldiers near Bab al-Qattanin leading to the Al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied Jerusalem, in the West Bank.

Israeli sources said two soldiers were moderately injured in the stabbing incident before the soldiers shot and killed the Palestinian.

Dozens of soldiers and police officers were deployed in the area after the incident before the army closed the entire area.

The Palestinian has officially been identified as Abdul-Rahman Jamal Qassem, 22, from the al-Jalazoun refugee camp, north of Ramallah, and lived in the nearby town of Jifna.

A surveillance video from the scene shows the soldiers surrounding the wounded Palestinian after the officers shot him; he was lying on the ground before an officer fired the fatal shot, although the Palestinian at the time posed no threat due to his severe wounds.

he soldiers also attacked many Palestinians in the area and closed all gates leading to the Al-Aqsa Mosque, before preventing the worshippers from entering the holy site.

In related news, Israeli sources claimed two soldiers suffered mild wounds after being struck by a Palestinian car during an invasion into Silat al-Harithiya town, west of the northern West Bank city of Jenin.

The army claimed that the incident was a deliberate attack, adding that the soldiers arrested the driver and took him to an interrogation facility.

Abdul-Rahman is the fifth Palestinian to be killed by Israeli soldiers in the first week of March 2022.

On March 6th, the soldiers killed Yamen Nafez Jaffal, 16, after the army invaded Abu Dis town, east of occupied Jerusalem, in the West Bank, and Karim Jamal al-Qawasmi, 19, from the at-Tour town, in Jerusalem, after shooting him near Bab Hutta gate, north of the Al-Aqsa Mosque.

On March 1st, 2022, the soldiers killed Ammar Shafiq Abu Afifa, 21, near Beit Fajjar town, south of Bethlehem, and Shadi Najm, 18, in Jenin, in the West Bank.

Undercover Israeli Soldiers Kidnap Two Children Near Jerusalem

On Monday evening, undercover Israeli soldiers infiltrated Beit Hanina town, north of occupied Jerusalem, and kidnapped two children.

Local sources said the undercover soldiers attacked the two children before forcing them into a car and taking them to an area outside the town, where they handed them to the army.

The two children, Adam Qawasmi and Ahmad Fadi, were standing in front of a school when the undercover officers attacked and kidnapped them.

On Monday night, Israeli soldiers invaded the Silat al-Harithiya town, west of the northern West Bank city of Jenin, stormed and ransacked many homes, leading to protests, before the army injured at least nine Palestinians and caused dozens to suffer the effects of tear gas inhalation.

Army Fires At Farmers And Workers In Gaza

On Monday evening, Israeli soldiers fired a barrage of live rounds at farmers and workers on Palestinian lands in Khan Younis and al-Maghazi, in the besieged Gaza Strip.

Media sources said the soldiers, stationed on military towers across the fence east of Khan Younis, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip, fired a barrage of live rounds and gas bombs into the Palestinian lands east of Khuza’a town, east of Khan Younis, forcing the farmers to leave their lands in fear of further Israeli escalation.

The sources added that the soldiers also fired many live rounds and gas bombs at Palestinian workers on lands east of the al-Maghazi refugee camp, in the central district of the Gaza Strip.

The workers were at a construction site when the soldiers started firing the live rounds and gas bombs, forcing them to leave. Local sources said a high-velocity gas bomb struck a Palestinian car in the area, causing damage.

On Monday morning, several Israeli military vehicles invaded Palestinian agricultural lands near the perimeter fence in Beit Hanoun, in the northern part of the Gaza Strip.

The attacks are part of frequent Israeli violations against the Palestinians, especially the fishermenfarmersshepherds, and workers in the besieged and impoverished Gaza Strip, and resulted in dozens of casualties, including fatalities, in addition to severe property damage and the confiscation of many boats after abducting the fishermen.

In March of last year, 2021, the Palestinian Interior Ministry in Gaza said Israeli mines were responsible for an explosion that led to the death of three fishermen.

Army Attacks Farmers In Central And Southern Gaza

Israeli soldiers fired live rounds Tuesday, at Palestinian farmers on their lands in the central and southern part of the Gaza Strip.

Media sources said the soldiers stationed across the perimeter fence in central Gaza fired dozens of live rounds and gas bombs at the Palestinian farmers while working on their lands.

The attack did not lead to casualties but forced the farmers to leave their lands, fearing additional escalation.

Also, the soldiers in Kissufim military base, across the fence, fired many live rounds and gas bombs into Palestinian agricultural lands east of the al-Qarara town, east of Khan Younis, forcing the farmers to leave.

Army Abducts Five Palestinians In Nablus And Jerusalem

On Tuesday at dawn, Israeli soldiers abducted two Palestinians from Nablus and three in occupied Jerusalem, in the occupied West Bank.

Media sources said the soldiers invaded the al-Jabal ash-Shamali area in Nablus, in the northern part of the West Bank, searched a few homes, and abducted Firas Za’tar.

The soldiers also invaded and searched homes in al-Quds Street, in the eastern part of Nablus.

In Rojeeb town, east of Nablus, the soldiers abducted Jihad al-‘Aasi after storming his home and ransacking it.

In the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood in Jerusalem, the soldiers stormed and ransacked a few homes before abducting Ali Qneibi, Mohammad Sa’u, and Yazan Husseini.

Funeral Of Slain Child Held In Jerusalem Months After The Soldiers Killed Him

Dozens of Palestinians held, after midnight, the funeral procession of a slain Palestinian child after Israeli allowed the transfer of his corpse almost four months after the soldiers killed him in Jerusalem.

Media sources said the army transferred the corpse of Omar Abu Assab, 16, shortly after midnight Tuesday, before Palestinian medics moved by ambulance to the Al-Makassed Hospital in Jerusalem.

The family took the corpse of their slain son before holding prayers in Al-Aqsa Mosque, and buried him in the al-Yousifiyya graveyard, north of the holy site.

The Israeli army informed the family that only twenty-one persons were allowed to participate in the funeral ceremony and burial and imposed a tight siege around the graveyard to prevent the Palestinians in the area from reaching it.

Despite Israeli restrictions and the heavy military deployment, dozens of Palestinians made their way to the area and participated in the prayers and the burial while chanting against the ongoing Israeli occupation.

It is worth mentioning that the soldiers killed Omar on November 17, 2021, after he allegedly stabbed two officers in the al-Wad Street in the Old City of occupied Jerusalem.

Israeli Army Detonates Palestinian Prisoners’ Homes in Jenin

Israeli forces detonated, on Tuesday, the homes of three Palestinian prisoners currently incarcerated for the alleged killing of Israeli settler in December of 2021, the Palestinian news & Information Agency (WAFA) reported.

Soldiers isolated and stormed Silat al-Harithiya town, west of Jenin, in the northern part of the occupied West Bank, before detonating the homes of the Palestinian prisoners Mohammad, Gheith and Omar Jaradat.

A large army force, along with 150 military vehicles including armored bulldozers, invaded and secured the area before taking measurements before exploding and destroying the family homes.

Soldiers ransacked homes, and opened fire with live rounds, rubber-coated steel bullets, tear gas canisters, and concussion grenades, injuring dozens of Palestinians who opposed the military’s act of collective punishment against the political prisoners and their families.

Soldiers shot one Palestinian with live rounds, and seven with rubber-coated steel rounds, while several received shrapnel wounds from concussion grenades.

Furthermore, one Palestinian young man was injured after being rammed by an Israeli military vehicle, in addition to dozens who suffered inhalation injuries due to tear gas.

The Jaradat’s are accused of killing an illegal Israeli settler named Yehuda Dimantman, 20, on December 16, 2021.
