Israeli Soldiers Injure 37 Palestinians, Abduct 23, In Jerusalem

On Monday evening, Palestinian medical sources have confirmed that Israeli soldiers injured more than 37 Palestinians, including children, and abducted twenty-three others, including two young women, after the army attacked dozens of Palestinians who gathered in Bab al-‘Amoud, marking the Isra and Mi’raj Muslim holiday.

The WAFA Palestinian News Agency said the soldiers and police officers assaulted dozens of Palestinians who were marking the Muslim holiday; however, the army did not want them to gather and started attacking them to force them to leave.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) said its medics provided treatment to 37 Palestinians, including eight who were rushed to hospitals for further treatment.

The PRCS added that one of the wounded is a child with special needs, was struck with a concussion grenade in the face.

It also said that a newborn, only six months of age, was struck with a concussion grenade in the face while with his family.

In addition, the soldiers abducted twenty-three Palestinians, including two young women.

The Israeli attacks occurred when hundreds of Palestinians, including families in Jerusalem, gathered in Bab al-Amoud to mark the Muslim holiday before the soldiers started spraying them with wastewater killed with chemicals.

It is worth mentioning that the Israeli soldiers and the police have been deployed in various parts of occupied Jerusalem, including the Old City and all areas around the Al-Aqsa Mosque, since the early hours of Monday morning.

Israeli Colonizers Attack A Palestinian Family Near Salfit

Illegal Israeli colonizers attacked, on Monday evening, a Palestinian family in their lands in Kafr ed-Deek town, west of Salfit in the central West Bank.

The colonizers attacked Najeh Harb and his family on their land in the Khallet al-Qameh area and forced them to leave while threatening to shoot them if they returned to their lands.

The colonizers also broke into two agricultural sheds and tried to assault many Palestinians.

Abdullah Kamil, the governor of Salfit, called on the Palestinians to remain steadfast on their lands and to foil the constant attempts of the illegal colonizers to confiscate their lands to build and expand their colonies.

Kamil described the escalation of Israeli violations as “organized terrorism” against the Palestinians, their homes, lands, and holy sites.

Soldiers Shoot And Abduct A Palestinian Teen Near Hebron

Israeli soldiers shot, on Monday evening, a Palestinian teen in the al-Hawawer area, north of Hebron, in the southern part of the occupied West Bank.

Media sources said the soldiers shot Omar Yousef ‘Allan, 18, from Halhoul town and detained him despite his wounds, in addition to preventing the Palestinian medics from reaching him.

The sources added that the medics eventually managed to get to the wounded teen and provided him with the needed treatment before placing him in the ambulance; however, the soldiers attacked the medics and took the injured teen away.

The Israeli army claimed it fired at three Palestinians suspected of throwing Molotov cocktails at the military and injured one of them.

It added that the wounded Palestinian was taken to a hospital and will be released to be moved to an interrogation facility.

Israeli Soldiers Kill A Palestinian, Seriously Injure Two, In Jenin

Late on Monday at night, Israeli undercover forces and soldiers invaded the Jenin refugee camp in the northern West Bank city of Jenin and exchanged fire with Palestinian resistance fighters before killing one and seriously wounding two others.

Media sources in Jenin said the soldiers surrounded the area of Ibn Sina Hospital after deploying undercover units driving civilian cars.

They added that Israeli military sharpshooters also infiltrated several buildings before using the rooftops as firing posts.

The soldiers then opened fire at the Palestinian fighters, leading to an exchange of fire before the army killed a former political prisoner, Abdullah al-Hosary, 22.

Palestinian medical sources said Abdullah was shot in the chest and died from his wounds.

The Al-Quds Brigades, the armed wing of the Islamic Jihad, said Abdullah was one of its members.

They added that the soldiers seriously injured two other Palestinians after shooting one with a live round in the head and the other in the abdomen.

During the invasion, the soldiers stormed the home of Jamal Abu al-Haija and ransacked the property before abducting his son, Emad.

Hours After Killing A Young Man, Israeli Soldiers Kill Palestinian Teen In Jenin

On Tuesday at dawn, Palestinian medical sources have confirmed that Shadi Najm, 18, died from serious wounds he suffered on Monday night after the soldiers shot him with live rounds in Jenin city.

Medical sources said the soldiers shot Najm in the head before the medics rushed him to a hospital in Jenin, in the northern occupied West Bank.

Najm was admitted to surgery and died from his wounds at the Intensive Care Unit. The Israeli bullets shattered his skull and lodged in the brain.

The sources added that the soldiers also shot many Palestinians with live fire and rubber-coated steel bullets and caused dozens to suffer the effects of tear gas inhalation.

The head of Urgent Care at Ibn Sina Hospital in Jenin said that Shadi was admitted to surgery before succumbing to his serious wounds.

He added that the Palestinian was shot with a live round in the stem of his brain.

Palestinian national and popular factions declared a general strike in Jenin to mourn the deaths of Shadi Najm in addition to Abdullah al-Hosary, 22, who was killed during a fire exchange with Israeli soldiers in Jenin late on Monday at night.

It is worth mentioning that the soldiers also abducted two former political prisoners in Jenin during extensive and violent invasions and searches of homes.

The killing of the two Palestinians also led to massive protests in Jenin, before the soldiers attacked the protesters with live rounds, rubber-coated steel bullets, gas bombs, and concussion grenades.

Medical sources said several Palestinians were injured, and dozens suffered the effects of tear gas inhalation.

On Tuesday morning, Israeli soldiers fired many gas bombs at two schools in the southern area of Hebron city, in the southern part of the occupied West Bank, causing schoolchildren and teachers to suffer the effects of tear gas inhalation.

Media sources in Hebron said the soldiers invaded the southern area of Hebron and fired many gas bombs at Tareq Bin Ziyad High School, Hebron Elementary School, and al-Hajiriyya School.

Israeli Navy Attacks Palestinian Fishing Boats In Gaza

On Tuesday morning, Israeli navy ships fired many rounds of live fire at Palestinian fishing boats in the Sudaniyya Sea area, west of Gaza city, in the besieged coastal region.

One of the fishermen said the boats were only three nautical miles from the shore when the Israeli navy attacked them with live and forced them to leave.

Media sources in Gaza said the attack, which took place near the Fishermen’s Port in the Sudaniyya area, caused damage to the attack boats but did not lead to casualties.

Two weeks ago, the navy abducted seven Palestinian fishermen after attacking their boats in the same area.

The attacks are part of frequent Israeli violations against the Palestinians, especially the fishermenfarmersshepherds, and workers in the besieged and impoverished Gaza Strip, and resulted in dozens of casualties, including fatalities, in addition to severe property damage and the confiscation of many boats after abducting the fishermen.

In March of last year, 2021, the Palestinian Interior Ministry in Gaza said Israeli mines were responsible for an explosion that led to the death of three fishermen.

WAFA: “Soldiers Demolish Structures, Raze Lands, In Occupied East Jerusalem”

JERUSALEM, Tuesday, March 01, 2022 (WAFA) – The Israeli occupation authorities today demolished Palestinian-owned structures and razed lands in Sur Baher neighborhood, south of occupied Jerusalem, said witnesses.

Israeli forces accompanied by a bulldozer raided an area of the neighborhood where the structures were located and proceeded to demolish them while cordoning off the area.

The bulldozer razed the four-dunum plot of land, destroying everything on it, including a shack and a warehouse, then tore down inner and outer walls, said the witnesses.

Soldiers Abduct Many Palestinians, Injure Dozens In Jerusalem

On Monday night, Israeli soldiers injured dozens of Palestinians, including children, and abducted many others after the army and the police assaulted the Palestinians In Bab al-Amoud, in the occupied capital Jerusalem.

The Wadi Hilweh Information Center In Silwan (Silwanic) said hundreds of Palestinians were celebrating the Al-Isra’ and Al-Mi’raj Muslim holiday before the soldiers and the police attacked them to force them to leave.

Silwanic said the attacks started in the evening hours on Monday when the families, including many children, were celebrating in the area before the soldiers and the police assaulted dozens and started firing gas bombs and concussion grenades at them.

It said hundreds of Palestinians came from several parts of occupied Palestine to pray in Al-Aqsa Mosque and were trying to reach the holy site through the various gates of the Old City before the army and the police attacked them.

When the Israeli attacks started, many families were separated from each other, children screaming and crying while their families looked for them amidst smoke from the gas bombs and concussion grenades.

The mounted police also chased dozens of Palestinians while the soldiers assaulted them with batons and pepper spray.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) said its medics provided treatment to more than 37 Palestinians, including eight who were rushed to hospitals.

Among the wounded was a newborn, only six months of age, who was injured in the face from the shrapnel of a concision grenade, in addition to a physically challenged child who was wounded in the face.

Silwanic said the child, Munawar Burqan, 11, suffered a jaw fracture, severe cuts, and bruises to the face before she was rushed to Hadassah Hospital, where she was admitted to surgery.

Silwanic also said that the soldiers abducted dozens of Palestinian, primarily teenagers, and took them to interrogation facilities.

Soldiers Abduct Four Palestinians In West Bank

Israeli soldiers abducted, earlier Tuesday, at least four Palestinians from several parts of the occupied West Bank.

The soldiers invaded the al-Jalama town, north of the northern West Bank city of Jenin, before abducting a former political prisoner, Yasmin Abdul-Rahman Sha’ban, from her home after ransacking the property.

The soldiers also confiscated several mobile homes owned by Yasmin and other family members.

Sha’ban is a former political prisoner who was held by Israel for five years before she was released in the year 2019.

Furthermore, the soldiers invaded Beit Furik town, east of the northern West Bank city of Nablus, searched homes, and abducted Ala Abu as-Saud, 40.

The soldiers also invaded Azmout and Beit Dajan, east of Nablus, and searched a few homes.

In addition, the soldiers invaded Kafr Ni’ma village, west of the central West Bank city of Ramallah, violently searched homes, and abducted a former political prisoner, Mohammad Abu ‘Aadi.

The soldiers fired many gas bombs and concussion grenades during the invasion, including some that struck homes.

The soldiers also invaded Ni’lin village, northwest of Ramallah, searched homes, and abducted Sadeq Abu Srour, 23.
