Israeli Soldiers Close Dirt Road Leading To Agricultural Lands In Sebastia

Israeli soldiers closed, Friday, the only dirt road leading to Palestinian agricultural lands in Sebastia town, northwest of Nablus, in the northern part of the occupied West Bank.

Mohammad Azem, the Mayor of Sebastia, said the soldiers installed a dirt mound on the road, in the eastern part of the town, and added that the closed road is the only one leading to Palestinian lands in the town.

Azem added that the army is ongoing with its illegal policies of isolating the Palestinian lands, in preparation for illegally annexing them, and the constant closures of the village, especially the gate that was installed at the entrance of the an-Naqoura area, leading to the main Nablus-Jenin Road.

It is worth mentioning that Sebastia is subject to constant Israeli invasions and violations, especially since the soldiers frequently invade it to accompany large groups of colonizers into its archeological site.

During these invasions, the soldiers block all Palestinian traffic, in addition to frequently storming homes, abducting Palestinians, and attacking protesters, in addition to removing the Palestinian flag from the site.

In related news, the soldiers installed a military roadblock at the main entrance of Biddu town, northwest of the occupied Palestinian capital, Jerusalem, in the West Bank, before stopping and searching dozens of cars, and interrogated many Palestinians while inspecting their ID cards.
