Israeli Occupation Forces Suppress Palestinian Protests in West Bank

DAYS OF PALESTINE – WEST BANK – Israeli occupation forces attacked, Friday, dozens of Palestinian protesters in different areas of West Bank, south of the northern West Bank city of after dozens of residents marched to protest against the illegal violations and annexation of their lands.

Palestinian sources said dozens of Palestinians marched to Jabal Sbaih mountain where they held Friday noon prayers and started chanting against the ongoing and escalating Israeli violations.
In the same context, clashes were fierce in Beit Dajan town east of Nablus, where the occupation forces fired rubber bullets and teargas canisters.

In the same context, Israeli soldiers attacked the protesters during the weekly protest against Israeli settlement construction, which takes place on a weekly basis in the village of Kafr Qaddum in the northern West Bank,

Israeli occupation forces attacked the Palestinians with rubber-coated rounds and teargas, injuring six of them and causing many cases of suffocation from gas inhalation. At least six Palestinians were injured.

The soldiers also chased and attempted to abduct many nonviolent protesters who were able to escape despite extensive military deployment.

Earlier Friday, the soldiers bulldozed and destroyed several agricultural roads leading to the protesting areas to prevent the Palestinians from reaching to the marches, and uprooted dozens of olive trees.
