Agencies-Gaza Post – Local sources reported that the Israeli occupation military shot at least 17 Palestinians on Friday during weekly protests against colonial Israeli settlement expansion in the villages of Kafr Qaddum and Beit Dajan in the occupied West Bank.
Israeli occupation troops shot rubber-coated rounds and stun grenades at anti-colonization demonstrators in Beit Dajan village, Nablus district, injuring at least 12 of civilians and inflicting many incidents of asphyxia from teargas inhalation. Local medics handled all of the injured on the spot.
During conflicts with the Israeli occupation force in the hamlet of Kafr Qaddum in Qalqilia governorate, five Palestinians were wounded by Israeli rubber-coated shells. Asphyxiation from teargas exposure has also been documented in other cases.
Meanwhile, two Palestinians were wounded by Israeli occupation soldiers in Hebron, south of the occupied West Bank, and others were suffocated by teargas during confrontations in the city’s Bab al-Zawiya district. The two injured were sent to a treatment center.
