The Old City witnessed a heavy presence of members of the occupation forces, who subjected a number of arrivals to searches and checked their identities.

Thousands of people also performed dawn prayers today at Al-Aqsa, as part of the Al-Nusra activities for female prisoners in the Israeli occupation prisons.

Worshipers were keen to flock from the West Bank, Jerusalem, and the occupied territories since 1948 to Al-Aqsa Mosque, despite the rainy and cold winter weather.

The Israeli occupation forces prevented many people from the West Bank and Gaza Strip coming to Jerusalem with a medical permit from entering Al-Aqsa, under the pretext that their permit is only for treatment.
