Palestinian was shot injured by Israeli forces, settlers storm house in Jenin

Days of Palestine – Jenin – A Palestinian young man was wounded, on Monday evening, when the Israeli occupation forces shot him near the annexation and racist expansion wall built on the lands of Anin village, west of Jenin.

Local sources reported that a young man from the town of Al-Saila Al-Harithiya was shot in the hand while he was in the village of Anin, and the occupation forces beat him before he was transferred to the Martyr Khalil Suleiman Governmental Hospital in the city of Jenin.

Meanwhile, a number of settlers stormed a house in the town of “Silat Al Dhaher”, south of Jenin, in the northern occupied West Bank.

According to local sources, a number of armed settlers stormed the house of Rabah Hantoli, located on the outskirts of the town, and climbed onto the roof of the house, causing panic among the residents.

This year witnessed the highest levels of violence recorded in recent years and more serious incidents, in attacks by settlers against Palestinians, who often live in villages and towns adjacent to settlements in the West Bank, according to United Nations human rights experts.

The Israeli security assessments were issued expressing their fear that settlers would carry out bloody operations against the Palestinians, which could ignite the security situation in the Palestinian areas, according to what was published in the Hebrew media.
