Israeli Soldiers Invade Beit Ummar, Abduct One

Israeli soldiers invaded, Sunday, Beit Ummar town, north of the southern West Bank city of Hebron, and installed roadblocks in Hebron city, and Ethna town, west of Hebron.

Media sources said several army jeeps invaded Beit Ummar, and abducted Ashraf Abu Sarah, after storming his home and ransacking it, causing damage.

The sources added that the soldiers also installed a roadblock at the western entrance of Hebron city, and the main entrance of Ethna town, before stopping and searching dozens of cars, and interrogated many Palestinians while inspecting their ID cards.

On Saturday evening, many illegal Israeli colonizers gathered at bypass road #60, east of Hebron, and tried to invade a Palestinian home, owned by Younis Aqel, in addition to hurling stones at Palestinian cars.

The colonizers also gathered around the Ibrahimi Mosque in Hebron city, and hurled stones at homes and cars.

Israeli authorities dismantle structures in evacuated illegal settlement following resistance operation

West Bank (QNN)- Israeli media reported that the occupation army has dismantled structures at the evacuated illegal settlement of Homesh Yeshiva on the road between Nablus and Jenin today.

They added that Israeli settlers had started constructing a religious school in the evacuated settlement aiming at re-occupy the area.

The Israeli move to dismantle the school comes a few days after a resistance operation in the illegal settlement.

The decision outraged settlers in tge West Bank, who said that the Israeli authorities reward the resistance.

Itmar Ben Gvir, a settler knesset member, said “Bennett’s government is rewarding terrorism by dismantling tge school.”

The Israeli army had evacuated the settlement in 2005 following a series of resistance operations that caused its settlers to escape.

Israeli Colonizers Attack A Home In Tulkarem

Illegal Israeli colonizers attacked, on Sunday at dawn, a Palestinian home in Rameen town, east of the northern West Bank city of Tulkarem, causing damage.

Media sources said the colonizers attacked a two-story home while the family was sleeping, causing excessive damage, and tried to invade the property.

They added that the neighbors rushed to the family’s aid and managed to chase the Israeli assailants away.

Soldiers Abduct Seven Palestinians In Jenin

Israeli soldiers abducted, on Sunday at dawn, seven Palestinians in Jenin, in the northern part of the occupied West Bank.

The Palestinian Prisoners’ Society (PPS) has reported that several army jeeps invaded Sielat al-Harithiya town, northwest of Jenin, before storming and ransacking many homes, causing damage.

The PPS added that the soldiers abducted Mohammad Yousef Jaradat, Mahmoud Ghaleb Jaradat, Omar Ahmad Jaradat, and his brother Gheith, in addition to Ibrahim Mousa Tahaina and Taher Suleiman Abu Salah.

The soldiers also abducted Abdul-Rahman Saleh Yacoub, from Jenin refugee camp, after stopping him at a military roadblock near Sielat ath-Thaher town, south of Jenin.

Israeli court rejects appeal to suspend Abu Hawwash’s administrative detention

Ramallah (QNN)- An Israeli court on Sunday rejected an appeal by the administrative detainee, Hisham Abu Hawwash, who has been on hunger strike for 125 days in protest against his illegal detention without charges or trial.

Jawad Boulos, Abu Hawwash’s attorney, said the Israeli court shied away from its responsibility towards Abu Hawwash and his serious condition, claiming that the prison administration is responsible for deciding to suspend the detention or move Abu Hawwash.

Boulos had requested to suspend Abu Hawwash’s unlawful detention and move him from the clinic of Al Ramlah prison to a civil hospital.

Qaddourah Fares, the head of the Detainees Association, said the court rule is another proof that it is just another repression tool for the occupation.

Hisham Abu Hawwash (40 years old) from Dora, Hebron, is a father of five children, who as arrested in October 2020 under administrative detention without charges or trial. His detention has been renewed three times and he had spent a total of eight years in Israeli prisons.

‘Israel’ arrests 6 Palestinians suspected in carrying out last week’s alleged shooting attack

Jenin (QNN)- Israeli occupation forces earlier on Sunday arrested six Palestinians suspected in carrying out the alleged shooting attack that took place on Thursday, near the illegal settlement of Homesh, north of Nablus, leaving an Israeli settler killed.

The six Palestinian suspects were arrested on Saturday overnight, two days after the incident.

Israeli media reported that the two Palestinians suspects accused of carrying out the alleged shooting are brothers Omar and Ghaith Jaradat, aged 20 and 17 years old.

The occupation forces arrested them after raiding their home in Silat al-Harithiya town in Jenin and turning it upside-down.

The Shin Bet security service claimed that the suspects belongs to the Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement.

The four others arrested by the forces have been identified as: Muhammad Youssef Jaradat, Ibrahim Musa Tahaineh, Mahmoud Ghaleb Jaradat, and Taher Abu Salah. They are all accused of helping the two brothers.

Occupied Jerusalem (QNN)- Dozens of extremist Israeli settlers chanted on Saturday night for the death of Arabs and burning of Palestinian villages during a march in the occupied West Jerusalem.

Video footage taken from the scene and published by Israeli media shows over 100 Israeli settlers chanting loudly “Death to Arabs” and “Your villages will be burned” while raising the flag of the occupation state during a march in the occupied West Jerusalem.

The settlers were protesting against the occupation government, as they called it to harsher its policies with the Palestinian people and prisoners.

This came after an Israeli settler was killed allegedly by Palestinians in an alleged shooting attack near the illegal settlement of Homesh, north of Nablus city in the occupied West Bank, on Thursday, amid a spike in settler violence against Palestinians and their properties in the occupied Palestinian territories.

On Friday, groups of armed Israelis attacked the villages of Burqa and Qaryout in occupied Nablus and tried to kill and kidnap native Palestinians. They have reportedly burnt 20 houses.

The violent acts include beating, throwing stones, issuing threats, torching fields, destroying trees and crops, stealing crops, using live fire, and damaging homes and cars.

There are 280 illegal settlements in the West Bank, which are home to more than 440,000 settlers.

In 2021, there were 135 recorded incidents of stones thrown at Palestinians, up from 90 in 2019, and 250 additional violent incidents, compared to 100 in 2019.

Soldiers Shoot, Injure 8 Palestinians Near Nablus City

Israeli forces injured, on Saturday evening, eight Palestinian civilians who fended off an attempted settler attack in Burqa village, north of Nablus city, in the northern occupied West Bank, according to a local official.

Ghassan Daghlas, the official in charge of the file on Israeli colonial operations, told the Palestinian News & Information Agency (WAFA) that illegal colonists stormed the western entrance of Burqa village, under the full protection of the occupation army, which sparked confrontations between the soldiers and village residents.

Soldiers responded by opening fire with live rounds, rubber-coated steel bullets and tear gas canisters at the Palestinian civilians, instead of stopping the invading settlers.

In a press statement, Ahmed Jibril, the director of the Red Crescent Emergency Center in Nablus, stated that 8 civilians were shot and injured by rubber-coated steel rounds, while 55 others suffered the toxic effects of tear gas inhalation, Quds Press reported.

Jibril added that three civilian homes required evacuation by medical crews as a result of tear gas fired by the army.

Local activist, Sami Abu Omar told Quds Press that calls from the village mosques warning of the attempted settler attack, to which many youths and other residents responded by obstructing the colonist invasion.

In related news, Palestinians confronted another attempted settler invasion in the Arab Al-Ara’ara community, in the Jordan Valley, south of Jericho, in the northeastern West Bank, witnesses stated.

No injuries were reported.

Extremist Israeli settlers attack Palestinians and properties across occupied West Bank

Occupied West Bank (QNN)- Extremist Israeli settlers on Saturday night attacked Palestinians and their houses and vandalized properties throughout the occupied West Bank.

At Ein Ayyoub junction, west of Ramallah, the settlers threw stones at several Palestinian vehicles driving at the junction.

In the village of Ramin, near Tulkarm city, the Israeli settlers attacked and threw stones at a Palestinian house before they were forced out by the residents of the village.

The house sustained moderate damage, and its dwellers were terrified by the attack.

Dozens of Israeli settlers blocked a section of road 60 east of Hebron city and threw stones at the Palestinian vehicles driving at the road.

They also tried to raid a house of a Palestinian citizen near the road.

Last night, an Israeli settler groups called for gathering to carry out lynching attacks on villages in the West Bank city of Nablus.

The Israeli attacks were planned to start at 5:00 pm Jerusalem time, as settlers announced.

Israeli forces close Bab Al Amoud area after finding bag of clothes

Occupied Jerusalem (QNN)- Israeli forces closed Bab Al Amoud area in the old city in occupied Jerusalem under the pretext of finding a clothes bag.

Israeli forces closed the area and carried out thorough searches. They also prevented Palestinians from entering.

Local sources told QNN that the bag contained only clothes, however Israeli forces continued to close the area for Palestinians.
