Jerusalem – Gaza Post – Dozens of Palestinians on Friday evening were attacked in the Old City of the occupied Palestinian capital, Jerusalem, in the West Bank, by a group of extremist Israeli settlers, local sources reported.
According to local sources, colonists attacked Palestinians in the Old City’s al-Wad Street, and the attackers were armed.
According to them, a large number of young Palestinian males rushed to the rescue of the battered civilians and were successful in forcing the Israeli attackers to flee.
Instead of removing the invading invaders, dozens of soldiers invaded the area and forced the Palestinians to flee.
It’s worth noting that several attacks and violations against Palestinians and their property occurred across the West Bank on Friday, resulting in numerous injuries.

Besides, at dawn, dozens of settlers attacked many houses in Qaryout town, south of Nablus, and injured several Palestinians, in addition to attempting to abduct one man.
Israeli settlers targeted multiple Palestinian automobiles late Thursday night near Sielet at-Thaher town, south of Jenin in the northern West Bank before Israeli forces stormed and searched homes and shops, confiscating surveillance equipment.
In recent days, Israeli forces enforced a tight blockade on the Nablus governorate on Thursday night, while Israeli colonizers targeted a number of cars near Nablus, including the convoy of the Palestinian Agriculture Minister.
