Gaza-Gaza Post – Earlier Thursday, Israeli soldiers kidnapped two young Palestinian men on lands near the fence in the eastern part of the southern Gaza Strip, while also firing live rounds at farmers in the central part of the coastal region.
According to media reports, the soldiers abducted two young men while working on Palestinian lands near the perimeter fence east of Khan Younis in the southern part of the Gaza Strip.
The soldiers handcuffed and blindfolded the two young men for approaching the fence and transported them to an unknown location.
Furthermore, soldiers stationed on military towers across the fence east of the al-Maghazi and al-Boreij refugee camps in the central Gaza Strip fired numerous live rounds at Palestinian farmers working on their farms.
The attack did not result in casualties, but it did force the farmers to flee for fear of further escalation.
The occupation frequently attacks farmers, shepherds, workers, and fishermen in the eastern coastal region and in Palestinian territorial waters, resulting in dozens of casualties, including fatalities, and preventing Palestinians from tending to their lands and fishing to feed their families.
In March of this year, the Palestinian Interior Ministry in Gaza stated that Israeli mines were to blame for an explosion that killed three fishermen.
