Israeli Colonizers Attack Palestinians Cars in Northern West Bank

Illegal Israeli colonizers attacked, on Thursday evening, many Palestinian cars on the Jenin-Nablus Road, in the northern part of the occupied West Bank.

Ghassan Daghlas, a Palestinian official who monitors Israel’s illegal colonialist activities in northern West Bank, said the colonizers hurled stones at many Palestinian cars, causing damage.

Daghlas added that the attacks took place near various towns, especially Sebastia, Burqa, and Bazaria where the colonizers gathered and closed roads.

He also said that Israeli soldiers were extensively deployed in the area, providing protection to the colonizers instead of removing them.

Also on Thursday evening, Israeli soldiers accompanied dozens of colonizers into the archeological area in Sebastia town, after closing various roads and preventing the Palestinians from crossing.

It is worth mentioning that the soldiers frequently invade Sebastia to accompany groups of colonialist settlers into the archaeological area.

During these invasions, the soldiers block all Palestinian traffic, in addition to frequently storming homes, abducting Palestinians, and attacking protesters, in addition to removing the Palestinian flag from the site.

Army Closes Jenin-Nablus Road Until Further Notice

The Israeli army closed, Friday, the main Jenin-Nablus Road, in the northern part of the occupied West Bank, until further notice.

Army Fires Live Rounds At Farmers And Shepherds In Central Gaza

Israeli soldiers fired, Friday, many live rounds at Palestinian farmers and shepherds on lands east of the al-Boreij refugee camp, in the central Gaza Strip.

Eyewitnesses said the soldiers, stationed in military bases across the perimeter fence, fired many live rounds and gas bombs at the Palestinian shepherds.

They added that the attack did not lead to casualties but forced the farmers and the shepherds to leave their lands in fear of further escalation.

On Tuesday morning, Israeli soldiers and navy ships attacked Palestinian farmers and fishermen in the besieged Gaza Strip.

The army frequently attacks farmersshepherds, workers, and fishermen across the eastern parts of the coastal region and in Palestinian territorial waters, leading to dozens of casualties, including fatalities, in addition to preventing the Palestinians from tending to their lands and from fishing to provide for their families.

In March of this year, the Palestinian Interior Ministry in Gaza said Israeli mines were responsible for an explosion that led to the death of three fishermen.

Ministry of Health: Hunger-Striking Prisoner Hisham Abu Hawwash in Critical Condition

(RAMALLAH, Friday, December 31, 2021WAFA) –

The health condition of hunger striking Palestinian prisoner in Israeli jails, Hisham Abu Hawwash, is in a critical stage and the worst is expected at any moment, the Ministry of Health had said.

Abu Hawwash has been on hunger strike for almost five months in protest of his indefinite detention without charge or trial by Israel under the so-called administrative detention policy.

A Ministry of Health (MoH) delegation which visited Abu Hawwash at the Israel medical center of Assaf Harofeh said his health condition is seriously dangerous as he suffers blurry vision, significant muscular atrophy and inability to move and talk.

MoH said its delegation tried to obtain the medical examinations that had been carried out to prisoner Abu Hawwash, noting that a December 16 examination for him suggests a critical shortage of potassium salt and an increase in liver enzymes. No other examinations were conducted for Abu Hawwash after that date, MoH added.

MoH pointed out that it had reached out to international human rights organizations to demand that Abu Hawwash be moved to a Palestinian hospital after the serious deterioration in his health condition.

This widely condemned Israeli policy of administrative detention allows the Israeli occupation military to sentence Palestinians up to 6 months in Israeli detention on secret information without charging them or allowing them to stand trial.

This policy has at times forced Palestinian detainees to go on hunger strike as a last resort to demand their freedom.
