Gaza Post – Israeli settlers set fire on Monday over fifty olive trees belonging to Palestinians in the town of Ash-Shuyukh to the northeast of Hebron, in the southern occupied West Bank, according to local sources activist Ahmad al-Halayqa.

The activist reported in a press statement that settlers set fire to at least 50 fully-grown olive trees and set up two mobile homes in Palestinian-owned land adjacent to the illegal Israeli settlement of Asfar, in an apparent prelude to take over the land for the benefit of settlement expansion.
