Israeli police violently suppress Palestinian protest in Jerusalem

Days of Palestine – Jerusalem – Violent clashes broke out on Friday afternoon in Biddu town in Occupied Jerusalem after Israeli police forces brutally suppressed a Palestinian protest calling for the return of the bodies of three Palestinian martyrs.

Local youths organized the event for the third consecutive week, demanding the release of the bodies of the three Palestinians who have been held in Israeli army custody for several weeks.

Israeli forces heavily used tear gas bombs during the clashes along with living and rubber bullets wounding two young men.

Last month, the Israeli army killed three Palestinians from Biddu towns. Since then, their bodies have been held in Israeli morgues.
