Israeli soldiers arrest Lebanese shepherd for crossing the border

Days of Palestine – Jerusalem – The Israeli occupation army today, Saturday, arrested a shepherd who seemingly attempted to cross the Lebanese border into Israel on Saturday morning.

The man was grazing sheep and had likely crossed the border by accident.

A spokesman for the Israeli army Avichay Adraee tweeted that Israeli soldiers were called to the area after sensors along the fence alerted them about suspicious movement.

The spot along the fence was in the middle of Jabal Ross, a village that straddles the Israel-Lebanon border.

The suspect was arrested within a matter of minutes and was taken for investigation.

Like West Bank Apartheid wall, Israel has been building a highly secured border fence with Lebanon.
