Israeli Army Injures A Child Near Hebron

Israeli soldiers shot a, on Tuesday evening, a Palestinian child with a live round, at the entrance of the al-Arroub refugee camp, north of the southern West Bank city of Hebron, and caused many Palestinians to suffer the effects of tear gas inhalation.

Local sources said dozens of soldiers invaded the Jawabra and Omar Madhi neighborhood in the refugee camp, leading to protests, and added that military sharpshooters also took positions in the streets and alleys, and fired many live rounds at the protesters.

The Palestinian Health Ministry said the soldiers shot a child, 16 years of age, with a live round in the abdomen, causing a moderate-to-severe injury.

It added that the child received treatment in Hebron before being rushed to the Arab Society Hospital, in Bethlehem, where he had undergone emergency surgery, and his condition was adjusted to stable.

Furthermore, the soldiers fired many gas bombs and concussion grenades, causing several Palestinians to suffer the effects of tear gas inhalation. (Source / 29.09.2021)
