Israeli Army Injures More Than 100 Palestinians Near Nablus

Israeli soldiers injured, on Wednesday evening, more than 100 Palestinians at the junctions of Beita and Huwwara towns, near the northern West Bank city of Nablus, after the army attacked protesters who marched in solidarity with the Palestinian detainees.

Ahmad Jibril, the head of the Nablus branch of the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) said a young man was shot with live fire in the leg, near the junction of Beita town, southeast of Nablus, before the medics rushed him to a hospital in the city.

Jibril added that the soldiers also shot seven Palestinians with rubber-coated steel bullets, and caused more than seventeen to suffer the severe effects of tear gas inhalation.

Jibril also said the soldiers shot two Palestinians with rubber-coated steel bullets and caused 72 to suffer the effects of tear gas inhalation near Huwwara junction, south of Nablus.

In related news, the soldiers abducted Mohammad Mousa al-Abbassi from the courtyard of the Al-Aqsa Mosque, in occupied Jerusalem. Mohammad is a former political prisoner from Silwan town, in Jerusalem.

Protests also took place in the al-Isawiya and the at-Tour towns, in Jerusalem, before the soldiers fired many gas bombs at protesters and surrounding homes, causing several injuries.

Israeli soldiers injured, on Wednesday evening, dozens of Palestinians, and abducted one, during protests in Arraba town, south of the northern West Bank city of Jenin. The soldiers also invaded orchards and farmlands and conducted extensive searches.

Media sources in Jenin said many Israeli army jeeps invaded Arraba town, leading to protests, and fired a barrage of gas bombs, concussion grenades, rubber-coated steel bullets, and live rounds.

They added that dozens of Palestinians suffered the effects of tear gas inhalation, and many sustained cuts and bruises. The soldiers also invaded and ransacked several homes in the town.

In addition, the soldiers installed a military roadblock at the junction of Arraba town, before stopping and searching dozens of cars, and abducted a young man, identified as Ezzeddin Marzouq, who is studying medicine at a university in Jenin.

Local sources said the abducted young man is the nephew of Mohammad Qassem al-‘Aarda, one of the six Palestinian political prisoners, who managed to escape from the heavily fortified, high-security Gilboa’ Israeli prison.

Furthermore, the soldiers surrounded and isolated Be’er al-Basha village, southwest of Jenin, in addition to the areas around Ya’bad town.

Also, the soldiers caused dozens of Palestinians to suffer the effects of tear gas inhalation in Be’er al-Basha and Ya’bad, and installed roadblocks in the area, before stopping and searching dozens of Palestinian vehicles, and interrogated the residents while inspecting their ID cards.

Israeli soldiers abducted, on Thursday at dawn, two young Palestinian men from their homes in the Bethlehem governorate, south of occupied Jerusalem, in the West Bank.

Eyewitnesses said several Israeli army jeeps invaded the Deheishe refugee camp, south of Bethlehem before the soldiers stormed and ransacked homes, leading to protests.

They added that the soldiers abducted Basel Walid Da’amsa, 25, from his home and took him to Etzion military base and security center.

In addition, the soldiers invaded the Abu Njeim area in Bethlehem city, searched homes, and abducted Saleh Amin al-Hreimi, 23.

Israel Cancels All Visits To Palestinian Detainees In Its Prisons

The International Red Cross has announced, on Thursday morning, that the Israeli authorities have canceled all visits to the Palestinian detainees in all of its prisons, detention, and interrogation centers, until the end of September, after six detainees managed to escape from the Gilboa high-security Israeli prison.

The Red Cross stated that it informed the families of the Israeli decision, which came after the escape of the detainees.

The cancelation also includes barring lawyers from visiting with the detainees.

It is worth mentioning that dozens of Israeli soldiers and special forces operating in the detention camps carried out massive invasions and searches in Gilboa and all prisons where the Palestinian political prisoners are held.

This included the serious escalation by the Prison Authority against the detainees in all of its prisons.

Dozens of detainees have been transferred to various prisons, while many others were forced into solitary confinement, in addition to the many detainees who have been injured while protesting the Israeli escalation and the illegal acts of collective punishment against them.

It is worth mentioning that the Israeli Prison Authority imposed a series of punitive measures against the detainees, especially in Gilboa’ prison, and closed various sections and branches, in addition to closing sections where they can wash their clothes.

Israel also closed the canteens in the prisons and is still ongoing with its collective punishment measures against the detainees and their families, an issue that could lead to further and serious tension, in addition to potential large-scale hunger strikes.

Israel said its recent measures came in the wake of the escape of six Palestinian political prisoners from its heavily fortified Gilboa’ prison.

Negev desert (QNN)- Palestinian prisoners in the Negev prison have set fire in 7 sections of the prison, in response to brutal attacks and suppression carried out by the prisons administration and suppression units today against them.

The Palestinian Commission of Detainees’ and ex-Detainees’ Affairs on Wednesday said that Palestinian prisoners in section 6 of the Israeli Negev prison was subjected to a brutal attack and suppression by Israeli special units accompanied by guard dogs.

The prisoners were thrown out of section 6 after being handcuffed, shackled by the feet, and brutally beaten by the special units.

In response, the prisoners in the Negev prison have set fire in 7 sections of the prison.

Today, all Palestinian prisoners held in Israeli jails announced general alarm and insurgency against Israeli laws, in response to the Israeli repression and punitive measures, which have been imposed for the third day in a row following the heroic act of six Palestinian prisoners who managed to free themselves on September 6 2021, from Gilbou prison, a high-security Israeli prison, through a secret tunnel they had reportedly dug beneath the prison.
