IOF detains 9 Palestinian in West Bank raids

RAMALLAH, (PIC) – Israeli occupation forces (IOF) arrested on Friday 9 Palestinians in the West Bank during raids that were followed by confrontations with Palestinians youth.

In Ramallah, IOF soldiers stormed various suburbs and were confronted by dozens of Palestinian youths, who threw firebombs at the soldiers. The soldiers, in their turn, fired live and rubber-coated bullets in addition to stun and teargas bombs on the young men.

According to our reporter, IOF arrested Muhammed Nidal, and Masoud Samada from Jalazon refugee camp, and arrested the siblings Mustafa and Ali Khalaf from Rantis, and arrested Hassan Ishtiyah from Masayf neighborhood.

In Bethlehem, IOF arrested Ahmed Taqatqa and Mahmoud Abu al-Adas after raiding the houses of their parents. The soldiers also broke into the house of the prisoner Hassanin Shoka looking for his son Hassan. 

IOF soldiers set up checkpoints at the city’s gates, and stopped many Palestinian cars, searched them and scrutinized IDs of citizens boarding them.

In Tubas, IOF arrested Muhammed Daraghma in Aqraba village after raiding his parent’s house. 

The West Bank is exposed to daily IOF raids that end with arrests of Palestinian civilians.
