Days of Palestine – Gaza – The Hamas Movement has warned the Israeli occupation state of its persistence in obstructing the efforts to solidify the ceasefire understandings and lift the blockade on the Gaza Strip.
“Changing Israeli governments does not concern us, but if we feel that there is some kind of [Israeli] reluctance and disruption regarding the negotiations to firm up the ceasefire and lift the siege on Gaza, we and other factions in Gaza will have to use different means to pressure the occupation,” member of Hamas’s political bureau Husam Badran said in remarks published on the Movement’s website.
“The main reason for the faltering truce talks is the new Israeli government, which suffers from insufficient political experience and its wide internal differences,” Badran added.
“The Hamas Movement will do everything necessary for its people to live with freedom and dignity,” he underscored.
