Israeli forces obstruct worshipers’ access to Al-Aqsa Mosque

Days of Palestine – Jerusalem – On Friday morning, the Israeli occupation forces obstructed Palestinian Muslim worshipers’ access to the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque on the third Friday of Ramadan.

Local sources reported that the occupation forces closed the checkpoints surrounding occupied Jerusalem since the early hours of the morning and allowed a limited number of our people to enter occupied Jerusalem.

In the Old City of occupied Jerusalem, according to witnesses, the occupation forces set up iron barriers and checked the identities of passers-by in the lanes and alleys of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, and detained a number of them.

Al-Aqsa Mosque compound, which includes the Dome of the Rock and other mosques, is the third holiest site in Islam.
