Israeli soldiers issued, Tuesday, demolition orders targeting several Palestinian structures in the al-‘Isawiya town, in the occupied capital, Jerusalem.
Media sources said a few army jeeps, and police vehicles, accompanied by personnel of the Jerusalem City Council, invaded the town, before handing several Palestinians demolition orders targeting their structures, including homes.
The soldiers also photographed several homes, buildings, and roads in the town during the invasion.
The city council claims the structures were built permit construction permits.
While Israel continues to build and expand its illegal colonies, Palestinian communities, and towns, in occupied Jerusalem, and various areas in the occupied West Bank, continue to be denied the right to build homes and property, under various allegations meant to prevent the expansion of Palestinian towns and neighborhoods.
The policy of home demolitions is an act of collective punishment illegal under International Law and the Fourth Geneva Convention.
