Israel strikes several areas across besieged Gaza Strip

Last night, Lehava members, protected by Israeli police, prepared Molotov cocktails in order to set Palestinian homes and vehicles in fire as part of their daily aggression on the Palestinians

Israeli occupation military struck early on Saturday several areas, mostly farms, across Gaza Strip, which has been under strict Israeli siege since mid-2007, security sources reported.

However, no fatalities were reported due to the heavy Israeli strikes, but most of the targeted farms suffered widescale damages in crops and irrigation networks, in addition to tens of children and women reported traumatised due to the attacks.

Israeli army spokesperson claimed that the strikes targeted military sites for Al Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas.

According to Israeli media, Israeli military carried out the strikes in retaliation to firing rockets from the Gaza Strip as number of rockets had been launched by the Palestinian resistance to warn Israel against its violations which have been going on in Jerusalem and Al Aqsa Mosque since the start of Ramadan.

Violations of the Israeli settlers, mainly the followers of the extremist Kahanist group, Lehava, sparked outrage in Gaza, with Hamas warning Israel “not to test its patience.”

Last night, Lehava members, protected by Israeli police, prepared Molotov cocktails in order to set Palestinian homes and vehicles in fire as part of their daily aggression on the Palestinians.

Fortunately, the Palestinians, who gathered in Jerusalem’s Old City, could prevent them and turn their planned attacks down.
