Settlers bulldoze lands and pave road for them, west of Bethlehem

Days of Palestine – Bethlehem – Settlers under the protection of the Israeli occupation forces, after midnight, widened an agricultural road in the “Al-Khammar” area of Battir town, west of Bethlehem.

Local sources reported that a group of settlers, under the protection of the Israeli occupation forces, bulldozed lands to expand an agricultural road that leads to the Khimar lands, specifically “Khirbet Musa”, 100 meters long and 6 meters wide, for settlement purposes.

It is noteworthy that the Al-Khamar area has been exposed for a long time to a settlement attack, which was the erection of mobile homes and tents before the citizens confronted and removed them.

The Israeli occupation forces establish about 503 settlement outposts, 474 of which are in the West Bank, and 29 in Jerusalem. Their area constitutes more than 46% of the total area of the West Bank, in which about 700,000 settlers live, who carry out almost daily attacks in the occupied Palestinian territories.

Palestinian prisoner from Tulkarm enters his 19th year of detention in Israeli jails

Days of Palestine – Ramallah – A Palestinian Prisoner Ismail Al-Tawil from Tulkarm, today, Saturday, entered his 19th year in the Israeli occupation prisons, and he is sentenced to 21 years in prison.

In a statement, the Palestinian Prisoner Club stated that the Palestinian prisoner, Ismail Al-Tawil, lost his father during his years of detention, and his wife was also subjected to many years of deprivation of her right to visit.

Ismail Al-Tawil is currently in the “Negev” desert prison.

Israeli forces assault a Palestinian child in Hebron

Local sources reported that the occupation soldiers sprayed hot gas on the child Moataz al-Zarro (13 years) during their storming of the Sahla area, south of the city.

The sources stated that the injured child was transferred by hospital medical staff to complete his treatment.

Palestinian children are routinely arrested, hands tied painfully and blindfolded by the Israeli occupation forces.

Settlers attack farmers south of Nablus

Days of Palestine – Nablus – Israeli settlers on Saturday attacked a number of farmers in Jaloud village, south of Nablus.

The official in charge of the settlement file in the northern West Bank, Ghassan Douglas, said that settlers from the “Ish Kodash” settlement outpost attacked the Palestinian farmers while they were cultivating their lands east of Jalud, and prevented them from continuing their work.

He added that settlers attacked an elderly man under the protection of the occupation forces, adding that they removed electricity poles on the road between the towns of Qusra and Jalud.

Israel summons Palestinian child after failed arresting him, south of Hebron

Days of Palestine – Hebron – The Israeli occupation forces today, Saturday, summoned a Palestinian child in the village of Tawana in Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron.

The coordinator of the Protection and Resilience Committees in Masafer Yatta and the mountains of southern Hebron, Fuad Al-Amor, said that the Israeli occupation detained his 14-year-old child, Muhammad, for about an hour.

Sources said that after resistance activists confronted the Israeli forces and prevented them from arresting the child, they handed him a report to be reviewed by the Israeli occupation police, in the investigation center in the “Kiryat Arba” settlement.

It is noteworthy that the residents of the village of Tawana face extremely difficult conditions, due to the continuous attacks of the Israeli occupation army and settlers against them, their properties, their crops, and their livestock, through which they try to provide a decent life for their families and children.

OCHA: Israel demolished 26 Palestinian buildings in two weeks

Days of Palestine – Jerusalem – The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs in the Occupied Palestinian Territory (OCHA) said that the Israeli occupation authorities demolished and confiscated 26 Palestinian buildings in the occupied West Bank during the past two weeks, claiming that they lacked building permits.

In a report released Friday entitled “Civilian Protection”, which covers between 16-29 March, the office stated that the demolitions resulted in the displacement of 34 people, including 15 children, and caused damage to about 40 others.

The report indicated that a 45-year-old Palestinian man was shot dead by Israeli forces during one of the weekly protests near the village of Beit Dajan near the city of Nablus, bringing the number of Palestinians killed by Israeli forces in the West Bank to 3 since the beginning of this year.

It mentions that 10 people were injured in the protests, which are still erupting near Beit Dajan for 6 months, against the establishment of a new settlement outpost on the lands of the village.

The report stated that 53 Palestinians were wounded during this period, during clashes with Israeli forces in various parts of the West Bank.

The Israeli forces carried out 128 searches and arrest operations and arrested 115 Palestinians in various parts of the West Bank, and Ramallah governorate recorded the highest number of these operations with the arrest of 27 of its residents, followed by Tulkarm governorates with 21 detainees, and Hebron with 18 detainees.

The Israeli occupation forces also arrested 21 Palestinians from the town of Beit Kahil in Hebron.

Israeli settlers attacked two Palestinians, causing injuries among them, and damaging several hundred trees.

In the Gaza Strip, the report indicated that Israeli forces fired warning shots on at least 17 occasions, near the border fence or off the coast of Gaza, claiming to impose restrictions on access.

On two other occasions, Israeli forces bulldozed land near the fence, while Israeli airstrikes targeted locations in Gaza, causing damage.
