Israeli soldiers attacked, Friday, the weekly procession in Beit Dajan village, east of the northern West Bank city of Nablus, and injured many Palestinians.
Local sources said the soldiers resorted to the excessive use of force against the nonviolent protesters and fired rubber-coated steel bullets, gas bombs, and concussion grenades.
They added that many Palestinians suffered the effects of teargas inhalation, before receiving treatment by local medics.
The Palestinians in Beit Dajan hold weekly nonviolent professions after illegal Israeli colonialist settlers installed an outpost on their lands in October of the year 2020.
On March 19, 2021, the soldiers killed Atef Yousef Hanaisha, 45, during a nonviolent procession in the village.
In related news, the soldiers attacked dozens of Palestinians holding the weekly nonviolent procession in the al-Mughayyir village, northeast of the central West Bank city of Ramallah, and injured six Palestinians, in addition to causing many others to suffer the effects of teargas inhalation.
