Days of Palestine – Jordan Valley – The Israeli occupation forces today, Friday, notified a citizen of demolishing one of his installations in Khirbet Yarza, in the Jordan Valley.
The human rights activist, Aref Daraghmeh, stated that the Israeli occupation forces raided the ruins, and delivered a notice to Salem Musaid under the heading of an archaeological site to destroy his facilities.
Khirbet Yarza is one of the villages in the Jordan Valley, and it belongs to Tubas Governorate, before the Israeli occupation of the West Bank in 1967, it was inhabited by between 120-150 families, and after its occupation, the occupation declared it a military zone.
The Israeli occupation deliberately conducts its training in the vicinity of the ruin, despite the vast area of the Jordan Valley, and a week is not devoid of the Israeli occupation forces announcing a date to train their forces in the vicinity of the ruin, which complicates the lives of citizens and endangers their lives.
The Jordan Valley is the food basket of Palestine, and it is the area most affected by the annexation project, which will devour tens of thousands of dunams of agricultural land.
Several areas in the West Bank, especially in the Jordan Valley and villages adjacent to the settlements, are under constant attack with the aim of confiscating more lands, building a settlement road, and displacing the population.
