It is noteworthy that the Israeli occupation intelligence issued against Zughair, a decision of solitary confinement inside the jails, which lasted for a long period.

Zughair has been subjected to a policy of detention and repeated summonses, as well as deportation, prosecution, and harassment of Al-Aqsa Mosque.

Zughair works as a guide to the pilgrims of Jerusalem in “Makkah Al-Mukarramah,” and he is considered one of the influential Palestinian figures on Jerusalem, and he owns a wide network of social relations.

Zughair is married and the father of four children, and he is one of the most prominent social and sports figures in occupied Jerusalem, and embraces a large number of the young generation through education, and sports which put him under constant surveillance of the occupation, specifically with regard to the Al-Aqsa Mosque.

The Israeli occupation targets Jerusalem people through arrests, deportations and fines, with the aim of deporting the Palestinian people from Al-Aqsa Mosque, and leaving it as an easy spot in front of settlement ambitions.
