Israeli settlers storm Al-Aqsa courtyards

28 Israeli settlers entered the Al-Aqsa Mosque courtyards

Dozens of Israeli settlers break into the holy Al-Aqsa Mosque and performed provocative rituals amid the forced evacuation of Muslim worshipers by Israeli police, Sundays` morning.

Palestinian sources reported that 28 Israeli settlers entered the Al-Aqsa Mosque courtyards. The tour was carried out in groups from the Maghareba Gate to the al-Silsila Gate, during which provocative rituals were performed.

The Israeli occupation police forced a group of elderly women to move away from the courtyards of Al-Aqsa to allow a settler to sit alone, as part of the restrictions imposed on Muslims stationed in the Mosque.

Israeli settler incursions are part of periodic tours aiming to change the fait accompli in the Holy City and Al-Aqsa Mosque.

Meanwhile, a new convoy carrying dozens of Arab residents of the 1948 occupied lands, from Nazareth city, departed to the Al-Aqsa Mosque.

The idea of the Al-Aqsa convoys is traced back to several years when the Islamic movement in particular and the people of the 1948 occupied Palestine, in general, have been organizing those convoys to strengthen the Arab and Islamic presence in Jerusalem and prevent the Israeli occupation.
