Israel forces a Jerusalemite family to demolish a room overlooking Al-Aqsa

Days of Palestine – Jerusalem – The Israeli occupation municipality in occupied Jerusalem forced a Jerusalemite family to demolish an outer room in the town of Silwan, south of the Al-Aqsa Mosque, which was blessed by their hand, under the pretext of building without a permit.

The Wadi Hilweh Information Center stated that the Israeli occupation municipality crews forced the Abu Hadwan family to demolish a room overlooking the Al-Aqsa Mosque with their hand.

The Abu Hadwan family said that they had to demolish the outer room of their house in the Bab al-Mughrabi neighborhood in the town of Silwan, which is located several meters from Al-Aqsa, under the pretext of building without a permit.

They pointed out that the room was made of iron, with an area of ​​about 90 square meters, and about 70 Jerusalemites benefited from it.

Israeli occupation municipality imposes crippling conditions and huge amounts of money for Jerusalemites to obtain licensing procedures, which extend for many years.

Jerusalemites resort to implementing orders and decisions to demolish themselves, “self-demolition”, after threatening to impose heavy fines on them, in addition to forcing them to pay demolition fees to the municipality’s staff and the occupation forces accompanying them.
