Palestinians fend off settlers’ attempt to raid Khan al-Laban, south of Nablus

Days of Palestine – Nablus – Today, Friday, the residents of the eastern village of Laban, south of Nablus, fended off the attempt by dozens of settlers to storm Khan al-Laban, located on the main Ramallah-Nablus street.

Dozens of settlers protected by the Israeli occupation forces attempted to raid Khan Al-Laban, an archeological site in the village but were thwarted by local residents who gathered in large numbers to prevent the raid and clashed with the settlers.

Khan al-Laban al-Sharqiya is constantly being attacked by the occupation forces and settlers, as the occupation bulldozers demolished several days ago windows and doors belonging to the khan, and settlers try to storm it every Friday.

Israeli settlers have escalated their violent attacks against Palestinian villages and areas across the occupied West Bank during the latest five weeks.
