The office warned that section 8 of Ramon Prison, designated for quarantining Coronavirus patients, was no longer able to accommodate new numbers of prisoners.

For its part, the Prisoners’ Authority said that the prisoners of section 10, and the detainees in general, live in a great state of confusion and anxiety after the discovery of infected cases, and fears of more cases within the section.

The authority held the Israeli occupation fully responsible for the lives of the prisoners, in the context of the increasing number of prisoners infected with coronavirus, especially in Raymon jail, where the number of infected cases reached 38, and the number is subject to increase.
