Palestinians Prevent Soldiers From Uprooting Their Lands In Jerusalem

Israeli soldiers invaded large areas of Palestinian lands, and attempted to uproot them in Wadi ar-Rababa area in Silwan town, south of the Al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied Jerusalem before the locals managed to intercept and stop them.

Khaled Abu Tayeh, a member of the Silwan Land Defense Committee, stated that the soldiers and the police invaded the area, accompanied by bulldozers, and tried to bulldoze and uproot large swaths of privately-owned Palestinian agricultural lands.

Abu Tayeh added that the locals stood in front of the bulldozers, some even lying down in from of them, to protect their lands, their only source of livelihood.

The soldiers assaulted the Palestinians and tried to drag them away, causing injuries, and abducted five young men, identified as Ahmad Semren, Fares Awad, Yousef Awad, Mohammad Awad and Ammar Awad.

The attack against the Palestinian lands is part of a larger Israeli colonialist plan aiming at building colonies and parks for the illegal Israeli colonists.

In related news, the soldiers abducted two children, identified as Adham Resheq, 16, and Yazan al-Karaki, 16, from Anata town, northeast of Jerusalem.

Soldiers Open Fire At Palestinian Farmers in Gaza

Israeli soldiers fired, Sunday, many live rounds at Palestinian farmers on their lands, east of Khan Younis, in the southern part of the besieged Gaza Strip.

Media sources said the soldiers, stationed across the perimeter fence, fired the live rounds at the Palestinians in Abasan area, in Khan Younis.

The attack did not lead to casualties but force the Palestinians to leave their lands in fear of additional violations.

Earlier in the day, the soldiers fired live round at fishing boats, close to the shore in Gaza territorial waters.

The Israeli army frequently attacks Palestinian farmers, workers, and fishermen in the Gaza Strip, causing dozens of casualties, including fatalities.

Israeli Soldiers Shoot Six Palestinian Workers Near Tulkarem

Israeli soldiers shot, Monday, six Palestinian workers near the gate of the illegal Annexation Wall, west of Far’un town, south of the northern West Bank city of Tulkarem.

Eyewitnesses said the soldiers fired many live rounds at the Palestinian workers, waiting near the gate to be allowed through, wounding six of them in their lower extremities. The injured workers are all in their twenties.

Medical sources at Thabet hospital in Tulkarem, said two of the six Palestinians suffered fractures in their legs.

It is worth mentioning that the army repeatedly opens fire at the Palestinian workers near the gates of the Annexation Wall, in several parts of the West Bank, causing dozens of casualties.

The soldiers frequently open fire at the workers to force them to disperse and leave the area and have in many cases chased and abducted many of them.

Israeli Soldiers Abduct Sixteen Palestinians In West Bank

Israeli soldiers abducted, on Monday at dawn, at least sixteen Palestinians from their homes in several parts of the occupied West Bank, including occupied Jerusalem, during violent invasions of dozens of homes across the occupied territory.

In occupied Jerusalem, the soldiers invaded and searched many homes in the al-‘Isawiya town, before abducting five teenage boys, identified as Abdul-Rahman Dirbas, Qussai Darwish, Adam Darwish, Mohammad Mustafa, and Akram Obeid.

The soldiers also released six Palestinians, who were abducted Sunday, after ordering them under house arrest.

They were among many Palestinians who were assaulted and detained by the soldiers, after the army invaded large areas of Palestinian lands, and attempted to uproot them in Wadi ar-Rababa area in Silwan town, south of the Al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied Jerusalem before the locals managed to intercept and stop them.

Furthermore, several army jeeps invaded Sebastia town, northwest of the northern West Bank city of Nablus, searched homes, and abducted Abdul-Nasser Kayed, in addition to his son, Nayef, Mohammad Nimir Ghazal, and Ayham Aqel.

The soldiers also invaded Qabatia town, south of the northern West Bank city of Jenin, searched several homes, and abducted Ahmad Talal Kamil, Majdi Hamza Saba’na, Ahmad Hasan Nazzal, and Montaser Faisal Khozeimiyya.

The soldiers also fired live rounds, rubber-coated steel bullets, and gas bombs at locals who protested the invasion, and hurled stones at the army jeeps.

In Ramallah, in central West Bank, the soldiers invaded the al-Jalazoun refugee camp, north of the city, searched and ransacked many homes, and abducted Ala’ Qassem, Mohammad Eyad Safi, and Mohammad al-Jobeidi.

In Bethlehem, south of occupied Jerusalem, the soldiers invaded Nahhalin town, west of the city, searches homes, and abducted Khaldoun Mahmoud Fannoun, 28.

The soldiers also invaded the al-Khader town, south of Bethlehem, searched homes, and summoned Qussai Ali Issa, 39, for interrogation in Etzion military base and security center, south of the city.

On Sunday evening, the soldiers chased Tamer Rami Hammad, 16, and abducted him from a shop in ‘Aida refugee camp, north of Bethlehem, in addition to firing many live rounds at Palestinians who protested the attack.

Earlier Sunday, the soldiers abducted twelve Palestinians from several parts of the West Bank, including occupied Jerusalem.

Israel Continues Closure Of al-Mughayyir Village, Near Ramallah

Israeli soldiers continued, Monday, the close of the al-Mughayyir Palestinian village, northeast of the central West Bank city of Ramallah, for the fifth consecutive day, preventing the residents from entering or leaving it.

Amin Abu Alia, the mayor of al-Mughayyir, said the soldiers closed the entrances of the village with sandhills and concrete blocks, forcing the Palestinians to take longer, unpaved roads to enter or leave the village on foot to reach their destinations, including work and education.

He added that the villagers held a massive protest, two days ago, demanding the army to lift the siege on their community, before the soldiers fired live rounds and gas bombs at them, causing dozens to suffer the effects of teargas inhalation.

It is worth mentioning that the soldiers have escalated their invasions and violations against the villagers in al- Mughayyir, and on December 4, 2020, the army killed a child, identified as Ali Ayman Abu Alia, 14, during the peaceful procession.

Israeli Set To Approve 850 Units In Illegal West Bank Colonies

The Israeli government, headed by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, is set to approve 850 new units in illegal colonies, built on stolen Palestinian lands in the occupied West Bank, this week.

According to Israeli Channel Seven, the Netanyahu-led government intends to approve 500 units in Itamar, Shave Shomron, Oranit, Beit El, and Givat Ze’ev colonies.

250 units will also be approved in Nofei Nehemia colony, in addition to additional 100 units that are pending a final approval.

Netanyahu and his right-wing coalition partners are trying to speed up the approval of new colonies before the outgoing U.S. President, D. Trump leaves office, especially before the inauguration of President-elect Joe Biden.

Israel’s colonies in the occupied Palestinian territories, including in and around the occupied capital, Jerusalem, are illegal under International Law, the Fourth Geneva Convention, in addition to various United Nations and Security Council resolutions.

UN Security Council and UN General Assembly resolutions have condemned Israeli policies in all its forms, in the occupied Palestinian territories, whether it be the seizure of Palestinian land for various military purposes, the construction of Israeli colonies, the creation of bypass roads, or other examples.

Article 49 of the Fourth Geneva Convention states that the occupying power [Israel] is forbidden from transferring any part of its civilian population onto the land on which it occupies [Palestine].

In first, Israeli settlement products shipped to UAE

The first delivery of Israeli products from illegal Israeli settlements was shipped to the United Arab Emirates on Sunday, Israeli media reported.

The products included in the shipment are olive oil, wine and honey.

Yossi Dagan, who heads a council for illegal Israeli settlements in the occupied West Bank, said these are the first export business deals organized between ‘Israel’ and UAE, calling it “a historic day for Samaria and the entire State of Israel.”

“We are finally bringing out the first pallets of olive oil and honey in a direct export from ‘Samaria’ to the [United ArabEmirates and, God willing, other Arab states in the future,” he said.

Last December, Israeli companies signed agreements with the United Arab Emirates to export their products to the UAE, after the UAE normalized relations with ‘Israel’ in a move that was followed by Bahrain, Sudan and recently Morocco.

Palestinians condemned the normalization agreements, saying they encouraged Israel’s denial of their rights and do not serve the Palestinian cause.

Palestinian group Hamas spokesman Hazem Qassem said on Sunday a statement that this move “is tantamount to encouraging Zionist settlement building on the occupied Palestinian lands.”

‘Israel’ to approve construction of hundreds of settlement unites before Biden’s inauguration

Occupied Palestine (QNN)- Israeli Kan channel revealed that the Israeli government plans to approve the construction of 850 settlement units in the last week before Biden’s inauguration.

The channel said 500 units will be built in Itmar, Beit El, Shavi Shomoron, Oranit, and Gav’at Ze’iv illegal settlements.

The Israeli government will also approve the construction of 250 units in the settlement outpost of Niveh Nihmah in the village of Iskaka in the North of the occupied West Bank, as well as, 100 units in Tal Al Manshiyyeh in western Jenin.

The Israeli government increased its settlement activity and land confiscation in the West Bank and Jerusalem during Trump’s term, who gave ‘Israel’ many gifts to expand its illegal colonial settlement project and steal Palestinians’ land.

7 Palestinian workers shot and injured by Israeli occupation forces gunfire

Occupied West Bank (QNN)- Seven Palestinian workers were shot and injured this morning by Israeli occupation forces while attempting to go to their workplaces, in the West Bank city of Tulkarem, according to the Ministry of Health.

The Ministry said that seven Palestinians were brought to hospital in Tulkarm with gun wounds to the leg.

Their injuries were reported to be light, but the hospital director said two of the injuries suffer from broken bones and need medical attention.

Local sources said the forces opened fire at the workers near a gate where they gathered in an effort to cross the apartheid wall and reach their workplaces, injuring seven, all said to be in their 20s.

Since 2002, ‘Israel’ has been constructing a wall that stretches for more than 700 kilometres, annexing Palestinian land inside the occupied West Bank. This wall is known as the separation wall or apartheid wall.

Israeli soldiers shoot six workers, arrest dozens

Occupied West Bank (QNN)- Local sources said six workers were shot by Israeli soldiers near the village of Firoun in southern Tulkarm on Monday while they were heading to their jobs inside the Green Line, and arrested dozens of citizens throughout the West Bank.

In the same vein, an Israeli force stormed the village of Al Khader in southern Bethlehem to break into a house and summon Qusai Issa (39 years old).

Israeli forces also arrested Tamer Owweis (17 years old) from a shop in Bethlehem, Rabi’ Kameel at the COntainer military checkpoint, Majdi Saba’neh, Ahmad Nazzal, Naser Khozeimah, and Ahmad Assaf from Qabatia.

Sufian and Muhammad Abul Haawa from Jerusalem have been also reportedly arrested. While Israeli also arrested Jihad Abu Qous, Usama Al Fakhouri, Muhammad Dirbas, and Seif Obeid from the holy city.

In Nablus, Israeli forces arrested Abdel Naser Nayef, Muhammad Ghazal, and Ayham Aqel. Also they arrested Alaa Qassem, Muhammad Safi, and Muhammad Jubeidi from Ramallah.
