OCCUPIED JERUSALEM, (PIC) – The Israeli police attacked on Friday several Palestinians in the Al-Saadiya neighborhood in the Old City of Occupied Jerusalem and arrested several young men. Another young man was also arrested in the Bab al-Amud area in Jerusalem.

Jerusalemite sources reported that the occupation police stormed the Al-Saadia neighborhood and attacked a group of young men while they were in the neighborhood.

The Israeli police arrested Khaled Dajani, Jihad Dajani and other young men and took them to investigation centers in the Old City, according to the sources.

Meanwhile, the Israeli police arrested a young man from the Bab al-Amud area in Occupied Jerusalem.

The Israeli occupation targets Jerusalemites with arrests, deportation orders and fines with the aim of dissuading them from frequenting the Al-Aqsa Mosque and leaving it an easy prey for Israeli settlers.

The occupation targets in particular the employees and guards of Al-Aqsa by arrests, deportation and harassment to discourage them from carrying out their role in protecting the Mosque.
